6:50am-got to the consulate. We were the first ones in line.
7:25-doors opened-by then there were about 10 people in line
We went through security. We ended up getting letter B, the guy behind us got A. But that's because it took us so long to get through since we had our 3 kids with us. Everyone was so nice and patient.
7:35-finished with security-guy helped dh take the strollers down the steps (yeah, I don't remember reading that there were a PILE of steps to go down. LOL)-told us that we would be called at 8:45
7:40 got downstairs-I had no idea what time it was, we had no watch. I barely got a chance to feed the baby when a guy came to take us upstairs
7:45 Got upstairs (A-D letters) and put in a little room with 3 or 4 windows. One at a time (first come, first serve) we went up and turned in our appt. letter and our letter. We were third up. Then we were told to wait in the waiting room.
8:15-Got call... read complete review

Sorry if it's too long to read. I will be as precise as possible to help all of you who are in this process If I made any mistakes (like mix up orders) I'm sorry I got so happy when I left I brainwashed myself and forgot about all the pain I went through (stress) haha.
At around 8.00 am I arrived at the consulate (my appt time is 8.30 and they apparently open at 7.30am). Just to let you know my Fiance wasn't with me so I was alone, but still worked just fine! I entered and the guard asked me for my interview letter. I stood in line on the left side as he asked me to (immigrant visas). For around 15 minutes I was waiting in line, since they only had one x-ray machine to scan! But since I was bored I talked with the lady in front of me. It helps you feel more relaxed, especially when you get to hear other people's cases.
When it was my turn to go inside (yes you have to take turns, the guards take one from immigrant appl... read complete review

I got to the front doors at 6:45 a.m. The officer opened the doors at 7:30. He asked to see my appointment letter and then let me in through the front doors. I went through the security and they gave me "A" card and then switched it to "B" card and gave the "A" to the guy who was in line after me. I went downstairs to wait for afew more people and then an officer came down and escorted us to the 19th floor where we had to take a seat. Our letters were called out in order. When she asked for "B" I had to give her my appointment letter and my passport. I had to go to the other room to wait till "my name" was called this time. The second time I had to go to the window, she asked for the I-134 application, 2006 and 2007 of my husband's tax return and his letter of employment. That was all they asked for. Then she told me to go to window 14 to pay my $131- U.S. for the administration fee. Then I had to wait again. I was called for the third time to the window to get my fingerprints done. I got there at 7am and was the third in line. The consulate opened at 7:30am and everyone was very friendly from the beginning. Security handed out a letter and at 7:45am, they took the first four(A-D) up to the 19th floor to start the process. The staff is very helpful and professional. You get called to the window a few times(once to verify and supply documents, then to pay fees, then to have fingerprints). The last time you're called up you go into a booth and meet the officer. I had a very pleasant woman who verified some details, gave me back my documents and then had me take an oath. She asked me one question(how my husband and I met) and then said I was done. She told me I'd receive my passport and visa in a few days. That was it. I was out by 9:30am. The time varies for different people. In the group I went in with, the guy ahead of me was out by 9am. My advice- get there early. Bring something to read(you can bring a magazine) and as long as you have your papers... read complete review
