Fast - friendly - didn't ask for any additional documentation. Asked how we met, if I had seen the house, how many times, where we got married. That was about it.

Much like the other reviews of this consulate, the wait was long and the only questions I got were:
"When did you meet?"
"When are you getting married?"
Very simple, as long as you have all the correct paperwork, and have things in order. I was approved, and received my visa the next day!
Again, they do not need your x-rays and the lady was almost upset that I had too many copies of my documents.

Overall the experience was a smooth one and my husband was approved - yay!
Here's the break down - nothing too differnt from the others. I apologize for any spelling or grammar mistakes, I am so happy and typing so quickly.
We arrived at 6:40am on Friday August 22 - way early but we were anxious. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott on Sherbrooke (great hotel by the way). We got coffee at the cafe on the corner and waited. People started to arrive at 7am and by 7:30 there were quite a few people on line. At 7:30am the guard opened the door and even though we were first in line the guard checking us in gave us the letter B.
There was a woman behind us with a HUGE purse who was somehow able to get a letter A and allowed in with her purse as long as she left her bottle of water.
We were checked through with no problems and told to go downstairs and wait until 7:45am. We did and at exactly 7:45am a guard came down in the elev... read complete review

I arrived at the US Consulate at 6:30 am (early I know, but I wanted to be first in line). No one else arrived until 7:15am, but between 7:15 and 7:30 about 20 people arrived. The doors opened at 7:30 and I was the first one in. All I had was my wallet and a binder full of information - the guards appreciated the fact I had my passport and interview letter in hand (thanks VJers for the tip). I walked though security, received the coveted letter A, and went down the stairs to wait for the elevator. At 7:45 the guard came down and allowed those of us with letters to go to the infamous 19th floor. I sat in the waiting chairs and the guard took my letter and passport. At approximately 8:15 I was called to speak to the first woman, we had a lovely informal chat - while she reviewed that all my paperwork was in order (it was, thanks again to everyone here for the tips!!), all she asked for was an updated employment letter from my husband's company (she didn't want any updated tax info... read complete review
