All in all, it went smoothly, and my fiancee was approved for her visa!

Appointment was at 8:30am, but we arrived at the Consulate by 6:50am.
By 7:15am, there were about 5 people on line.
The doors opened at 7:30, and we were the first people who entered after displaying our appointment letter and passports.
After screening our belongings, we awaited our trip to the 19th floor.
After a few minutes, we were called to a back booth to verify we had the proper documentation. The woman was very friendly & patient.
We were then sent to he cashier to pay the $131 (cash).
After a few more minutes, we were called back to the same booth for fingerprinting. Again, the woman was very friendly.
After a few more minutes, we were called to a tiny room for the actual interview: The man was extremely friendly, and the interview lasted less than 10 minutes. Questions consisted of where/how/when we met and when she plans to enter the U.S... read complete review

The process at the consulate was extremely easy and painless! If you read other's reviews like I did prior to your interview, you will prepare yourself for the big day.

This is how the morning went:

1. Wife and I woke up at 5:45, got changed, and went downstairs for the complementary breakfast in our hotel the Embassy Suites.
2. 6:55 - Walked from the hotel to the consulate. 10 minute walk. (Extremely cold -18C)
3. First to the door, at 7:10.
4. A few others started to show up around 7:20.
5. Security guard opened the main doors at 7:30.
6. We were the first to enter, we proceeded through security, and left my remote entry for my car behind. They gave me a ticket to retrieve it on my way out. I was handed a packet, and on the top was a plastic letter "A". We then proceeded down the stairs and sat in the chairs in front of the elevator.
7. The security guard came down at 7:45, and called letters A-E. As we were A, w... read complete review

Then go thru security
Then I'm told to go downstairs and wait for a another security guard to take everyone upstairs.

Guards gets there at 7:45am and takes letters A-D up in the elevator
Then we all sit and wait for our letter to be called, I was letter C

Went thru all my forms, verifying information on it
gave in my mailer and medical
Took my fingerprints
Then she told me sit and wait for my name to called

at around 9:20am my name was called the interview
they give me back my original documents
then i was sworn in that everything on the forms and that is said is true
was asked a few questions... read complete review

Ugh, we got an agent that was a absolute stickler on every issue! We had to leave the consultate and forward several more doc's for her approval( who cares if Luc broke his hand 30 years ago?!)..this added another 3 weeks to the waiting process.....
