This consulate was super quick and easy. The interview consists of one question for me and that was how do you know your husband. That’s it. I am so happy I got such a nice consular officer!

Do not arrive too early as security will only screen you at the time of your appointment. The interview lasted about 1.5-2 minutes, and it was fairly straightforward. The interviewing officer was polite, professional, and efficient. In the end, we were approved.
In exceptional cases, you can pay your K-1 MRV fee on the day of the interview if the fee payment website (ais.us-visainfo.com) is consistently not working. We had a long e-mail back-and-forth with the support team for this website weeks before the interview. They reset our account twice, but each time, we were prompted only for a courier fee but not the MRV fee. In total, we paid for about five envelopes, three before the interview and two on the day of the interview. If you need to pay the MRV fee, it will add another window to your visit. MRV fee payment is payable in cash only, US or Canadian dollars.
At one of the windows, we were given printed instructions to buy a postage paid MEDIUM envelop... read complete review

Pretty similar experience like others, interview was at 9am I got there 8:45. Was inside the building within 5 mins. Went thru security, got 2 slips of same number. Went upstairs, first window stern but nice gentleman asked for my passport, copy, birth certificate and copy, payment receipt, I 134 and supporting documents, police reports. Gave me a domestic violence brochure and told me to read it as they will be quizzing ( no one asked me questions regarding this). Waited about 20 minutes before being called to next window, really nice gentleman, felt more like a friendly conversation than an “interviewâ€. Questions asked:
-what is your fiancé name? What does he do? How and when you guys met? When did you get engaged?
- what countries have you lived in? Tell me about your travel history for past 5 years?
- where does your fiancé live?
I saw him grab the “trackin... read complete review

I did my medical with Dr. Lee in Scarborough. It was efficient and the expectations they set for me were met. The X-ray and bloodwork are done in the same building so overall I was at the office about 2.5 hours from start to finish for everything. The Dr. warned me that the blood results would likely take a couple of weeks due to backlogs with Public Health but surprisingly they had the results back in only 4 business days. They called me the day they received the results to tell me I needed another booster for MMR as mine was not strong anymore - apparently they test for this. I was able to go to a walk-in clinic that same night and get the booster and sent the proof to the Dr. the next morning. They sent the medical results to the consulate in time for my interview. Even the officer doing my interview was surprised I was able to get it in on-time. Overall a very good experience.
