Like most Embassies the queue is long. Once transferred from USCIS you will have to wait months for an interview date. As for the actual interview there's nothing much to say really. No surprises. Have all your information lined up and have more than you think you need, expect to be questioned on everything ensuring your spouse knows everything about you and your extended family. The Embassy will run a full background check on you through LexisNexis so any errors or omissions will be glaring. They have all of the answers to the questions they will be asking, they are simply checking if what you and your spouse says matches the report.
Show your spouses name on any and all health care documents, financial reports like retirement plans or bank accounts, show them as beneficiaries in the event of your death, anything to show you are a real couple. Expect your spouse to be questioned extremely hard, expect the Embassy to try to break him/her, bring them to tears, to accept ... read complete review

My Fiancé, k2 daughter and our infant along with me arrived 20 mins before the interview. Once we checked in at window 7, they put a sticker to expedite coz of the baby. A very nice Khmer lady took our documents and showed a lot of respect to my fiancé, which is touching to see in a country like Cambodia, where anyone with power shows attitude to their own kind. An hour and a half later the CO called us and had a very big smile and spoke to us In English. Basic questions were asked as how we met and if I was there for the babies birth, which I was as I showed them evidence that I had being in Cambodia 9 times since I met my fiancé two years ago. The only snag we had was the CO said that they needed the biological father of the K1 to come and sign an affidavit, even though we had a notarized letter (lawyer cost $250). This was going to be an issue as he isn't a pleasant man, however I was willing to pay $$$ for his time. The CO though said he will write to Washington for guidance, ho... read complete review

Consulate was very nice. She only asked three questions.
1. When did your daughter come to USA
2. How did she come to USA?
3. How many kid she had?
Then consulate noticed that the criminal record translation was missing one digit from the original. She asked to correct them and come back between Mon-Wed at 1pm-2pm. Parents went hack on Monday at 1pm and gave her the correct criminal record. Consulate took the passport and gave a slip to pick up visa Friday the following week. However, during that same week, consulate call them to come back again because the name and DOB was wrong compare to new passport. Consulate asked them to bring a few govt ID forms. My parents went back Monday at 1pm again. Met with the same consulate. My parents explain the reason why and the consulate see it reasonable. So the consulate gave them a new slip to pick up Visa Feb 13th 2115 at 11AM. Feb 3rd, CEAC status changed to "Issued - Your visa has been printed."
