They just a few questions, did not care to see any pictures or other supporting material like emails and phone records. After a battery of doctor exams and a sleepless night prior to the interview, the storm has passed and now we are just waiting for the passport back and any other documentation for our long awaited and much deserved reunion!

Our interview was Friday Dec 11th. Scheduled for 7-30 am. May be 10 -12 couples attended that morning and about 3 single beneficiaries. The group was directed upstairs where instructions were given and a contact form was given to be filled out. Then a list of required documents , a check list. After about 90 minutes the names were called and ea couple went into a small room and embassy employwee reviewed the docs then sent you out to the room again. Then ea beneficiary name were called to go into the room for the interview. Each time the Petitioner was asked to wait out side and not allowed inside while the interview took place. Each interview lasted approx 20 minutes. Ours was approved and all others as well. A bit nervous while waiting but as long as all docs were submittted , none were denied.

They opened the gates and herded us all inside at intervals. No cell-phones or cameras allowed, but you can leave them with the security guards no problem.
Once inside, we went up to the second level where there is a waiting area for immigrant visa applicants. The person running the show in the waiting room gave us a paper indicating what order to put our documents in. We did this and then brought them to the lady and she checked to make sure everything was kosher. My fiancee had to take another passport photo (easy to do down the street) because she was wea... read complete review

The interview went smoothly. It only took about 5 minutes and since I went to be with my fiancee at the interview they asked me more questions than her which made her very happy lol. We got there at 7 waited until 7:45 to enter and was out of the consulate at around 10:15.

My fiancée had her interview this morning. She was in the building at 8AM, passed thought everything fairly quick, no complications with security since she didn’t have her cell phone or other metal objects. Fingerprinting and forms review was done fast too as she had everything in order. The first one to be interviewed, CO very nice and friendly.
