So, Carolina and I were set to have the interview at 7:15AM. We got to the embassy at 5:45, and waited there outside until 7:00AM, and the lady came outside to check pictures and passport of everyone, and gave a password (number). Ours was 304. Around 7:10AM we walked inside the building, where they had a security point to pass through first.
We carried everything. Carolina had her folder full of documents, etc, etc.... I was carrying 2 cases of MSN chat history, one in each hand... We passed through security, took our things and continued up to the 2nd floor where there was an average sized waiting room with about 20 chairs.
We were first to the consulate in the morning, first ones in the door, first ones to have a seat... (we also sat in the front row). :P
We waited, then everyone received instruction on a form they handed the beneficiaries to fill out, with basic information about her and I (name, address, email, case # etc.) A... read complete review

It was done in less than 2 months, pretty fast.
I didnt even have an interview because the consul said that my story is pretty solid
I guess if your marrige is for real, and u don't have anything to hide, it will be fine.
People there were very nice to me, just the cash girl was an ass.
They say that the fee for the interview is U$ 400, but it is U$ 404. I brought U$ 400 with and R$100. She said that I just could pay in U$ or R$, so she let me go out to a exchange house but it was 9 a.m and everything was closed. I came back and she was rude, then I went back to the interview room and asked if anybody there had U$ 4 haahha then somebody there had U$5 and everything worked after that.
So justmake sure that you have extra money or an international credit card and good luck

The interview was today. I Just received the much awaited phone call. The visa was approved. No words to explain the relief we both feel.
I was anxious to hear the details of the interview. Glauceine told me the interview was very short. I'll post the information I have now and when Glauciene and I talk tonight when she arrives back home, we'll talk and I'll post the remaining details. Once in the interview. Glauciene was asked where we met. (Brazilcupid) He looked at the few pictures that we took together on my 2 visits to Brazil.
He then asked her how long she had been alonne. Answer: 6 years. His next response was, well I believe you can have your visa. Good Luck! Glauceine said that she was so surprised she asked 2 more times before she got up from the chair. After she stood, she was starting to walk away and turned to the officer and asked agin, you're sure my visa is ok. The officer smiled and said again, yes you have your visa.
So, to summ... read complete review

The interview was a breeze and over before both of us knew it. We both had been preparing 7 months for it and were quite anxious but the actual day was exciting and relieving. We arrived between 6:45-6:50 am. The line was already long but it continued to grow after us. The line seems huge at first. This is because all the people there for tourist visas are lumped together with the K1 applicants. Between 7-7:10am they began separating the visas. They check your 2 photo IDs to make sure they are correct and ears are showing (if they are not they will send you to retake them) and give you a number for your interview. The K-1 folks were ushered to the 2nd floor ahead of everyone else. There you are seated and instructed on how to fill out a few forms and make sure all your paperwork is in order. When you are done you wait some more to be called into a room with a window for further checking of documents. They take the documents so the consular can look them over and consider them before qu... read complete review
