She arrived at the Embassy around 6:30AM local time and everything was completed by 10AM.
According to her everyone at the embassy treated her with the outmost professionalism. She said that most of the time was waiting for her turn to come up, but once she was called the process took less then 30 minutes to complete.
Some of the questions that she was aked are:
What is the full name of your fiance? (My name is really strange,,LOL)
How many daugthers do I (fiance) have and what are their full names?
Where do live and do any of them live with him?
What is the name of your daughter?
How many often do you guys speak or skype with eachother?
No photos, chat logs nor Skype logs were asked, but she had it all if they had asked.

After reading many interviews on the Rio Consulate, I was very aware of the process, and had plenty of faith that it was going to be straight forward.
Indeed, it was just like that, with A COUPLE OF THINGS that I wish I had read before, because I spent a couple extra hours there, that I would not have ;-)
First of all, I flew down to Brazil, to go to the interview, even though I knew it was not needed. However, I wanted to be there with my wife.
Since she leaves in Sao Paulo, we went to Rio on the weekend, and stayed on a friend's house, which was about 45 minutes from the consulate. I read about the hotel next door, but our friend refused to let us stay on the hotel.
On the morning of her interview, we took a cab, and got to the consulate about 6:30 AM ( interview time was 7:15 AM ). We went to get some coffee, instead of going to the queue, since I read on the forum that you did not have to get there early.

Cheguei ao consulado as 6 40 da manhã e já haviam pessoas na fila. A fila do visto de noivo fica bem em frente a entrada do consulado (e a entrada do consulado para fica na parte de tras). O consulado tem pessoas uniformizadas ajudando portanto pergunta a uma delas qual a fila para seu visto específico. Se levar celular (não é permitida a entrada com o mesmo), várias pessoas com coletes do lado de fora, oferecem um serviço para guardar seu telefone. Para não ter que me preocupar eu não levei celular.
Por volta das 7 da manhã uma senha é dada para todos na fila. Como pessoas com crianças tem prioridade, não se preocupe em chegar muito mais cedo que 7 horas.
Após passar por um detector de metal subimos para uma sala separada dos pedidos de visto para turistas.

The consul asked me if I ever had tried a american visa before, how and when we first met, if I have kids, If my finace have kids and what is their names.
Why we want to live in USA and not in Brazil.
And then asked if we have pics together and asked to see.
He asked all these questions while typing on computer, and then he finally said that the interview was approved.
My fiance went to the interview with me and I can tell that it helps A LOT when the american fiance goes with you to the interview.
