We got to the interview early, around 6:45. We were scheduled around 7:40. Outside of the consulate, there were lots of people mainly tourist visa people. For I-130s' we were sent to a different location. entering the building that had a plaque that said nonimmigrant visa( that's the place they sent us to go, and we just followed where they told us to go.) Once we were in the building, we were checked through security and sent to the second level of the building, where the actual immigration visas were being conducted. They had us organize the papers to turn in and my hubby sam sat in the front row where they called people to turn in the documents. After turning in the documents they confirmed some things about our documents and our relationship(not the actual interview). We waited about another hour to be interview and at this point we spend already 2 hours in the consulate. Around the 4 hour mark sammy was finally called. We only answered 3 questions super simple ones.(to be fair our... read complete review

My husband's interview was schedule for 8:20am, Nov 30th 2023.
We arrived to the consulate at about 7:40am and there was a super long line for the tourist visa or non-immigrant visas and a pretty short line near the door for immigrant visas.
My husband told them he was there for a green card interview and they checked his passport and then gave him a green card to put inside.
They did not allow me to go in with him and I waited outside while he stood in line and then about 10 minutes later he went inside and I left.
My husband said that inside, he showed them the card in his passport and they sent him to the second floor. On the second floor, someone gives you a list of the documents you need and the order they go in. Once you put them in order, someone else calls you to a window where they check your documents and make sure you have everything.
~side note~
I waited about 2 hours or so at the airbnb and then felt like I should go back to t... read complete review

It was a great experience. People were very polite with my wife. She really felt like they were helping them.
Even if you are unemployed and use a joint sponsor, don’t forget to fill out the sponsor form yourself as the petitioner and fill it as 0. Would’ve canceled the interview if I hadn’t been near the consulate at that time.

My interview was fast and the consulate officer was very polite. I did not receive approval at that time because my medical exams had not arrived yet on the consulate. I received my approval and visa package one week later.
