Interview was today, Oct. 21. We will post a complete review as soon as possible.
The main thing is - and as far as I can see, it is a first! - that the visa decision was delayed without us having to provide any additional document or information. The reason was stated as "we will check that you told the truth and if that is the case, we will mail you the visa in your passport".
Also, I don't know about the previous interviewing officers, but we got a man and he was not friendly at all. We asked another couple who had their interview maybe 45mn before ours and they got a woman, and their opinion was that she was not friendly either.
The only good thing was that the process was relatively fast, we arrived at 7:50am, got in at 8:00am and our interview was over at 10:30am. There were 18 couples/families (35 people total), with about half being K-1, the rest K-3. We were called roughly as #12.

My interview was really good. I got there at 630am, and i was second of the line but ended up being the first one to the interview. They checked my papers twice and then i went to talk to a man. He was ok, my fiance was with me so he would ask questions in portuguese and english. He asked how we met, if we have kids, if ive been to the states before, where we will live, where he lives now, what im going to do there, where my fiance works at, he asked for the proof of relantionship and i got it to give to him but he said no i dont need to see it, just wanted to know if u had it and then he said it seems like you have all documents and you have been approved, congratulations!!! and that was it!! i went to pay to get my passaport at home, payed 30 reais and left around 930am.
now just need to wait for my visa!!!

We arrived to the embassy 30 minutes early, it was scheduled to be at 7:45am. The line was in the back for the K1 visa, it was the smaller line (be careful waiting in line there were a lot of birds flying above us and my fiance got hit along with 2 other people in line). Then someone from the embassy came outside to check-in everyone that was in line. We got inside the embassy at around 8:10am and went upstairs to a room with a lot of other applicants where they called people up by name to check your paper work. Then it was a one or two hours before we had the interview.
The actual interview was only about 5 to 10 minutes long. They asked my fiance where she worked in the US ( she had an H2B visa before). Then they asked me how we met and where I live. Then they looked over the affidavit of support document very quickly, barely even looked at them. They just look at the first page of the Tax returns ( I had my parents cosponsor because I didn't make enough money ... read complete review

Interview was super easy! The Consul makes you very comfortable, like if she was a friend and you were telling your story to her.
I got there early, around 7am. 5 people were there already. Most of them had no proofs of relationship (pictures, etc, etc) and were missing documentation. I had everything ready and in order.
We got in, waited and by 10am, I was the second to be interviewed.
First we sat and the lady helper handed in a paper sheet with the order that the documents had to be put in (no need to say that I had everything in order already - duh!). She had her specific order, even though 99% of the people there was not ready yet. She kept calling the names in her order, but no one was ready, so she called me because she knew I had everything prepared.
I went in the first booth and the guy there gave me my original birth and marriage certificate back. He also gave me my husband's 2006 and 2005 tax receipts (he said he... read complete review
