I entered the US Embassy in Brussels around 145p (appointment scheduled at 2p) and after two security checks, a quick one at the fence and an airport like one inside (where they kept my phone/flash drive/car keys...), I waited for like 15 minutes in the waiting area.
Then I was called at a first counter and that nice and smiley person went through the documents again, asking me to show originals of the copies they had already. She also collected part of the medical examination result documents. She asked some more question about my stay in China (traveling between Belgium and China for about 2 years) and going through the file, she found a copy of the letter sent to NVC to explain the whole China situation and said that the Consul will state on that (meaning China Police Certificate required or not). She kept my passport and was not too picky about the pictures I gave that should have been American sized (meaning larger). Finally she took my finger prints.

They won't allow you to go inside sooner than 15 minutes before your appointment. The guards are very friendly and will give you a suggestion where you can get a snack or get a drink while you wait.
You can expect to be inside for 1-2 hours during the interview. First stage is handing over your documents. Then you have to wait 30 minutes, and then they will go over to the interview part.
Expect the K1 Visa 7 days after your approval. You pick-up your passport and K1 Visa in the embassy/consulate.

Everybody was very friendly. The first check in to give all the required documents was fast. Then i had to wait a couple of minutes, and then, the interview took only a few minutes as well. He took my fingerprints and asked me some questions about my fiancé and our relationship.
At the end, he told me that the visa was granted, he kept my passport and asked me if i wanted it to be mailed or if i wanted to go back to pick it up. It takes anyway one week.

Had 2 issues with this Embassy:
In the paperwork that we filed, we had to give the address history of the past 5 years. I lived in the UK 6 years before interview date. Since It wasn't in the requested time frame, I didn't mention it. During interview got a question about address history and it slipped out. Therefore an additional Police Certificate from the UK was necessary, even though I explained that it was not necessary in the paperwork. They said it was ok to email it, but after 3 weeks still no result. Therefore put it in the mail and I got approved 4 days later.
2nd issue: Eventhough I requested for my passport and paperwork to be send back to me by courrier, the Embassy told me to pick it up anyway

Since not a lot of Belgians share a review of their experience, here is mine.
My appointment was today at 2 pm. While others tend to come in fashionably late, I was waaaay too early. I don`t know my way around there so when I arrived at noon (11.50AM!!) I decided to grab a drink and then slowly make my way there. While I was waiting, at about 12.15 it started pouring down. The security had already asked for my appointment letter and said they could let me in within about an hour. I decided to stick it out.
12.45, one of the security guards said I could come in and wait in the waiting room inside since it was raining so bad. I had bought an umbrella in the railway station of Brussels Central, luckily. The other guard though, said that he didn`t want that, so the gate closed again without telling me any more. I was left there till about 1.20 when another guard told me to go grab a coffee across the street and come back around 1.45 cause they would not allow anyone in any so... read complete review
