for the most part, it was a good experience. the snafu with the medical report was a let-down, but with some newer personnel in place in certain areas, inevitably changes occur and you have to roll with it. anyway, everyone was polite and helpful, from the guards to the COs. they are always really busy so i can't complain about the wait. especially since i did end up with the visa once the medical was sorted out. just try to remain calm and pleasant and there shouldn't be any problems. oh and make friends with the people waiting with you to help the time pass.
