Interview was fast, people were really friendly. aslong as you follow all the step as far as paper work goes, there shouldn't be any issues.

We walked in there knowing that our chance of passing the interview was pretty much a done deal and just required the formalities. We've completed all forms carefully and supplied all documents. The interview was scheduled at 8AM and we were done by 930AM with the visa approved. The agent didn't ask many questions at all and I couldn't recall anything specific beside how long have I lived in the US, being an immigrant here myself. I love the email communication being offer at the embassy. They should embrace that even more, so to save everyone time and money.

Yaaa!!! Approved, we arrived 30 mins before our interview time, went to the 10th floor where i checked in my bag and phone, then straight up to the 59th floor, took a ticket from the machine and looked at the view while we waited our turn. First part was easy, just had to hand over the additional things like passport, 3kg satchel and visa receipts. waited again to be fingerprinted and then waited again for the nerve racking interview. The gentleman asked a few questions like where does my fiance live, what does he do for a living, when am i going over and do i have a wedding date yet! then asked my daughter if she was excited about starting school there and then he said the magic words ive waited sooo long to hear "your papers are in order and your visa is APPROVED!!" i couldnt believe it i even asked again to make sure lol!! my passport with the visa in it will be posted to me before the end of the week. The interview overall was easy and all done in an hour but most of that time was ... read complete review

APPROVED!!! Very easy and painless. So far its the easiest part of the whole process. Everyone was really nice and polite. I think as long as you have everything they require and have things in order its not so bad. As Ive read on Visa Journey, Take a book or look at the wonderful view over the harbour while you wait. I was in and out in around 1hr with the Interview itself only taking about 5 mins. Woo Hoo!!!

My fiance had to wait a total of about an hour and a half, which included going through security, getting called up for finger prints etc.
Interviewer asked one question, "When do you plan on going to the US?" and asked nothing else.
Interviewer did not ask for or even look at the evidence I spent so much time organizing and preparing, oh well!
Very easy, nothing to be nervous about
