Getting there is exactly as everyone has described in recent reviews. Building renovations make it a bit harder to find your way to the right elevator but it isn't hard to find someone who can help you get there.

I placed all my documents into a clear, plastic, document folder which I took in with me. There were five people in front of me so by the time I was called for my interview, I had no questions for the interviewing officer because I had already heard the answers to the questions I would have asked. In respect of the interview itself, I was asked how we met, where we will live, what my fiancé does for a living and how we have kept in touch during the pandemic etc. The interviewing officer was kindly, clear, professional and easy to talk to. I was approved pending receipt of my medical report which I had had done the day prior and received my visa in the mail just over a week later.

I was nervous, had to leave everything including wallets and phones at a locker.
The first time I got called was to collect documentation was present and how I would like my information returned. I must have been the only one that said by mail, as literally 5 mins later I got called to the second window.
Most of the questions surrounded the legitimacy of our marriage.

Like most of the other reviews, I enjoyed the experience.

Received an email the friday before the monday interview to inform us that I required to provide an Australia Post Pre-Paid express post packet.

Attended only 15min prior to appointment time. I had been to Brisbane the week before for my medical and had to wash my hands due to the visit. Sanitise, then attend a 'pre-interview' where an officer will go through your paperwork and put it in a seperate folder. I dumped my phone and sunglasses into a small bag and given a receipt for it.
Headed into an elevator up to the next level where I took a number and was called up straight away. However this 1st call was just to take fingerprints and hand over your documents that were pre-sorted for you. Take a seat again, before being called up for the interview.

My interview took around 10min.
I was asked how we had met, and what plans have we made for the wedding. That was it. <... read complete review

Very much the same procedural experience as the previous reviews. Get there 30min early, wait, line up, wash hands, hand over phone, elevator, ticket, waiting, waiting, finger prints and files, waiting, waiting, waiting, interview, done. Felt like forever and a minute at the same time.

Everyone at the consulate was incredibly nice the whole way through. The interview went for maybe 10-15 minutes and I was really only asked about our relationship, where we met etc, plans for the wedding, where I'll be living and then told me it was accepted.

Worst part by and large was the waiting factor and stifling my excitement (and maybe a tear or two) as I went back down the elevator with the worker who first took my finger prints and files.
