So I had my Green Card Interview today. What an awesome day for me and my wife.
As information to everyone in this group - My interview was scheduled for 8:30am. I turned up 15 minutes before my interview time and was asked to come back at 8:30am.
Clearing security was straight forward and we were taken upstairs. Within 5 minutes we were called up to provide all original documentation. After that we grabbed a seat and waited to be called for interview. It only took 15 minutes to get clear security and provide required documentation.
We waited around 20 minutes before being called for our interview. The interviewer asked the following questions:
1 - How did you both meet
2 - Where did you meet
3 - Where was your partner born
4 - Have you ever lived in the USA
5 - What is the longest time you have stayed in the USA
6 - Have you ever overstayed a visa or been deported
7 - Have you ever been convicted of a criminal off... read complete review

My husband had a pretty similar experience to what many others who have posted here (as far as process and orientation). He drove to Sydney the night before and stayed at the Hyde Park Inn which had underground parking and was in walking distance to the consulate. He showed up to his appointment about an hour early. The security officer told him to come back, which he did a half hour later, and they let him through. He only brought his documentation, wallet, and phone. They took everything, sent him through security and then gave him back his documents. He was then directed to a large open room with waiting chairs and numbered booths where the interviews were occurring. He was given an informational handout and directed to a number ticket dispenser. He grabbed a ticket and waited till they called his number. Once his number was called, he walked up to the specified booth where he was asked for specific documents, which he provided from what he had brought. Then was directed to go sit ... read complete review

Very unpleasant experience.
Had to have an interview in Melbourne as Sydney is still closed due to COVID/relocation.
Officer who did my interview called me wrong/a liar all bc they had a glitch in their system which was later confirmed in an email to the consulate.
Have had to mail in my docs and still waiting for my visa weeks later.
