September 15th my husband had his interview at the embassy, 7:00 AM. He said there were probably 60 other people there, so it was a busy, full morning. We were granted an expedite at the NVC based on my pregnancy and so we got our interview a little faster than some others....
When he was called to the window, they told him he still had to pay $404 which we both didn\\\'t know since this is usually paid at the NVC, but since we were expedited we had to pay at the embassy. He didn\\\'t have this money on him, so he had to negotiate with the lady to let him go get the money and come right back (which they finally did let him do). When he returned with the money, he needed change as he only had $500 and it was $404 - she said she couldn\\\'t give him change! I think this is absolutely crazy...thankfully a nice girl that was there gave my husband $10 so we didn\\\'t have to loose $96 bucks!

hi all. i had interview September 1 2011.
should be there at 7 in the morning. passing controls (no mobile phones allowed) you get inside the walls in some sort of waiting space. metal chairs very uncomfortable, some heating device and ceiling fans, potable water and toilets are available. lcd screen goes on repeating the same video where people of different races says "i am American" and you see some procedures that are waiting for you inside. all this... while you see other people they see you and paranoid thought are twisting your mind about - will i get the visa or not. while waiting there is a Albanian Courier employee that make you fill a coupon in case you get the visa, you will not get your pass that day. the embassy send passports with visa inside to this Albanian Courier and they call you after some days, you go to Rr Mine Peza TR and get your pass in hand. 400 lek te reja if from TR. 600 lek if from any other city.
they call your name you go in at number 4. ... read complete review

Hi all , my Husband had the interview on Apr 18 and they asked this question
1-Have u ever been out of Albania more then 6 month
2-How did u met ur wife .
3-How many times she has been to Albania
4-When was her last time she came in Albania
But the visa was not gave to my Husband because of the Co-sponsor wife had not sigend the I-864 bc ,1-we did not know that the spouse had to sign the Afidave of Support 2-they needed the IRS TRANSCRIPT of taxes 2009 and 2010 , c-they needed to the copy of the passaport of the co-sponor and his wifes' copy of passaport . And i had to send those paper to the Embassy in Tirana .
Wish me luck bc the anxiety is not yet over . to many headacher from this offices .
No i am not happy with the service of Emebassy bc no source of information provides that i need to have the transcript and the copy of Passaport .
