Hi guys! I applied k-1 visa for my fiancé, he had his interview in May and his medical examanition was done too by the time of interview but he is in AP since that... so basically it’s been seven months. Dose anyone know how long more we have to wait? We are going through very hard times it’s so tough to wait and I’m going to lose my patience 😡

My fiancé is a refugee from Afghanistan. He was living in a third country (where I met him) but was forced to return to his home country of Afghanistan to have his interview. He had his interview and our case is now in Administrative Processing. The initial 60 day waiting period will be finished in 2 days. I’m just wondering how long other visas for other afghan citizens took in Administrative Processing?

My interview at Kabul US Embassy.
I arrived at the embassy at 6:30 one hour before my interview appointment.
They did the biometric at 8:30 am . I waited for one hour until they call me for my interview.
The officer called me for my interview in a private room, but other cases like SIV, DV, and CR1 were being interviewed in other area.
There were two officers in that room where I had my interview, they asked me if I like to do my interview in English or in my native Language, which I choosed English.
They were so friendly and kind .
The lady was the one who was asking me the questions.
They just took the Affidavit of support and IRS transcript some pay stubs, they didn't ask about anything else like photographs or chat logs and other proofs. Even I asked them if they like to see the photos , she said no we saw some photos in the I-129F form.
She returned all original documents back to me.
She asked me around 16 questions:<... read complete review

My Fiancé had his interview on February 23rd, 2017 in Kabul. He said there was about 6 men and 1 woman for K1. He handed over all documents and they gave him back his folder of phone logs with me. That really upset me because it shows how much we speak on video and phone😠The CO was a lady and was nice. She spoke to him in English (didn't ask if he wanted Dari..which I don't understand why). Anyways, questions were about how we met, his family, work and why he wants to be with me. After that she handed him a yellow card (221g). It was checked off for AP and medical documents needed. He also received a paper about when entering America about domestic abuse. She told him that she would be contacting him. 2 days later I received email from the CO that she wanted to do a phone interview with me. She called a couple days later and it was all normal questions( I must say she was very nice and respectful) Before hanging up she explained that she would contact my Fiancé and me i... read complete review
