The staff were really friendly. The petitioner and their friend were standing outside the embassy in the cold waiting for the applicant to complete the interview, but after the applicant spoke with the staff they allowed the petitioner and the friend to wait inside. Over email the embassy said the petitioner would not be allowed in so it was really nice that the staff on ground allowed this. During the interview the applicant pointed to the petitioner and the petitioner waived to the person conducting the interview. The financial packet and engagement photos were taken during the interview. The case was placed into Administrative Processing shortly after the interview was completed.

After 2 failed attempts at self scheduling NIV appointments (my tenacity can't be tamed) he finally arrived at the official interview on 28 Feb 19. The interview went well according to his assessments. He said the interviewer was very serious and not at all interested in being swayed by his personality (lol), this is her job after all! He did get her to laugh a bit when asked if I had any children, he said yes and then she asked him to clarify. He explained that I have a cat as my child, for now! Anyways, he made me proud with his answers and intention and I, too, feel good with his feedback.
Unfortunately he was placed in AP; however, he was not asked to submit additional documents and none of the boxes were checked on the yellow slip. I am optimistic that this AP is normal and that his Visa will be processed soon - relatively speaking. He was asked to leave his passport, which he did. We're ready to be reunited after this long and sometimes arduous separation. ... read complete review

Missed my interview,
Is it possible for the embassy to forget informing you about your interview date? Neither me nor my fiancee got any calls or emails regarding interview date from the embassy. And when we sent them an inquiry email, we found out that I have already missed the interview. Now gotta wait for another appointment.

I had my interview on 2nd December 2018, at US Embassy Kabul for K-1 Fiance Visa. my Interview was very good, but at the end of my interview she give me Yellow Card and She marked following Paragraph.
ï‘Your immigrant visa application needs further administrative processing. We cannot give you a definite date when the processing will be completed, and it will likely take several months or more. You can check your visa status online using your case number at the following website address https://ceac.state.gove/ceac/. It may take three or more weeks for your case to appear in this system. Note: In Some cases, your medical exam may expire before administrative processing is complete. If this occurs, you will be required to redo your medical exam.
Could anyone help me, what this mean? when i will be able to receive my K1 Visa from US Embassy Kabul?
