Hi Everybody

Yesterday we called the NVC and they informed us that our case is complete and that they already sent it to the embassy, however we havent got any email (SF and CC) is this normal?? Also they told my husband that they havent schedule the interview and that for July there is no availability.

I am kind of nervous about i, because we havent got any email from NVC and I would like to know if this is normal?

They sent a barcode with this email, the email is to request the IV packet that we sent on tuesday. Now, after what you wrote I supposed that they include the barcode for us not to forget to sent it with the IV packet

Wow, that's amazing that you got someone to admit that they schedule all month long!

Writing the case number on all pages isn't MANDATORY, it's just a suggestion. Why? In case one paper gets lost, at least it'll be much easier to hook it back up to the case if the number is written on it.

As for the bar-code, you either needed to print it out from the payment portal or print it out from the email about the IV package. If you didn't include it, I'm not sure if NVC will review it or not. Or they might take longer with your case since they have to go out of their way to find out if you paid your IV bill and it was accepted. I'd suggest calling NVC and asking what you should do, if anything.

We did sent the bar-code but the one from the payment portal, I hope that is the same bar-code that they sent today on the email in order to avoid delays on the process, definetly I will call :s

I never had that kind of request, we sent the IV packet without the NVC number in the pages, but indeed is mandatory to send the cover sheet with the bar code, and I'm now done with NVC. Have you called and spoken to a supervisor?

At leats is good to hear that you did not write the numbers and that with the normal barcode you are done with NVC

We sent AOS packet two weekes ago and we got a response, on that, they request the the DS-230 packet to be sent, we sent it on tuesday, however it has instructions, for example that we have to write in all the pages the NVC number,we did not do it, it also has a barcode (I dont know if it the same that we sent) check letter response, that we have to sent according to that. Do you know if there will be problem with the IV packet?, because we did not write the NVC number in all the pages and also we did not sent the barcode that this email has :S

This makes me feel nervous

Basically, all you can do is wait now. It'll probably be about 2 weeks before you hear anything. Just call NVC every day and ask if there's any update.

Bigbigblake just repeated NVC scrypt, a kind of a joke. I advice you to call them to have an update, don't hesitate to call them often till you have your answer.

Do they send an email to inform you?

Inside the sealed envelope is all the forms you've submitted throughout the process (I-130, I-864, DS-230) as well as your medical results. You might be able to see it for yourself at POE. The officer opened it while asking me questions and I saw all the forms.

As for the originals/certified copies, you get them all back: birth certificate and marriage certificate. If you also sent in divorce certificate(s), you'll get those back too. Remember, if the officer forgets to give them back, just remind them.

You can send them both at the same time or as soon as one is ready, it doesn't matter.

Yes, anybody can submit the Choice of Agent by email. Just follow the template here: http://www.visajourn...il_DS-3032_form It seems to work for everyone, although it seems it might take a few days for it to be accepted, so you might have to wait a bit, but NVC will accept it.

Saylin, according to the info that we got we have to pay first the $88 of AOS and then IV Application Processing Fees, in the system we can only paid de AOS the IV Application Processing Fees says not invoice is that normal? when do we have to pay the other fee?

Hi Vj family, something happended yesterday with our petition, my husband got a letter saying that our petition is approved, however in the system it is still in acceptance and we never got any email notifiying the approval, any one with the same issue?

I am happy but I dont want to have false expectations :S

Ok friends check this out as I was replying and talking trash about TSC. I sent a message to Angela Barrows for her to see it tomorrow early. Well I received a text and and email saying

I AM APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!

how can this be??? are they pulling my leg???? they told me I was transferred today to CSC and now same date I am APPROVED.... APPROVED... my baby ... yes my baby is coming.... PRAISE GOD... now I am so happy.. it seems that this last email worked.. maybe Angela is working overtime!!

You can create an account on the USCIS web site. You enter in your case numbers,,, and there will be a column that reflects a "last activity" date. That date = last touched, and can be touched for a variety of reasons....most desirable of course is for approvals!
