My grandmother is from Panama. She had not been back to her country in twenty-seven years. January 2009, I had just finished college and not gotten a job yet - a perfect time to take my grandmother back to Panama to see her family. While on the trip, we stayed at the Decameron resort. This is where Yelkin and I met. We exchanged contact info and kept in touch after I got back to the US. A month later we decided to make our relationship official. I have flown back to see him several times. Unfortunately, his tourist visas keep getting denied. He officially proposed on June 8, 2010. We have applied for the fiance visa and are anxiously awaiting our answer.
