  • Our Story
We met in South Korea in Jan. 2007. I was there teaching English to super cute kids, and he was stationed there with the Army. We met at a bar where he was volunteering, and the sparks flew later that night after he gave me a case of A&W Root Beer and we danced to Norah Jones in an Irish Pub in Seoul! We were engaged during a vacation in Beijing China at midnight New Year's Eve of '08/'09. We got married in March 2010 near my hometown and are waiting very anxiously to be together once again!

  1. After being apart for 16 months, we have just found out that hubby is deploying to Iraq in the next 90 days. So, if we are lucky I MIGHT get my green card just in time for him to leave. So, do I bother or just stay home in Canada with my family until he returns?

Oh it's so difficult being apart. I hope you have the chance to reunite for a while before he leaves.
