My Wife (Santi) and I (Joe) worked for a software company that was International. We had worked together first on projects where she would install the software on the servers/dialers I built. We then started larger projects together building multiple solutions for multiple locations for a client.
After that we started to become friends and Santi helped me out through hard times. I honestly didn't think she would leave her Home for Me, but I guess I was wrong.
Santi asked her Manager for permission to come to the US to broaden her skills and help her become a Manager in the Support Department. They let her come over, but we ended up having issues as the Company was financially going under. They could not supply the paperwork for her Work Visa. So we ended up getting married on 8/8/8 :) We filed our paperwork with our Attorney, went through our immigration meeting and my wife now has her first Temp Green Card.
