Emie and I met on March 18th 2010 in Singapore.Being a musician, I was there to play a concert with the Frank Vignolia Trio as part of the Mosaic Jazz Festival.After having dinner with my band mates in Clarkquay in Singapore we decided to go for coffee.While walking through the night life section of Clarkquay, I noticed this beautiful woman working as hostess( did't know that she's the outlet supervisor ) at that restaurant.I told my buddies that was the place I wanted to get coffee.Emie seated us and I struck up a conversation with her.I invited her for lunch the next afternoon and to my surprise she said yes.It was a lovely time after which she left to go to work. I had the chance to go to her place of work for coffee two more times before we had fly back to U.S.We kept in touch . I should mention that when I left Singapore I had no idea this relationship was going to where it did. I went back to visit Emie in Singapore July 30th to August 4th 2010. In the middle of this visit we took a trip to her home country of the Philippines for the purpose of meeting her parents and siblings.This is where I proposed to her.
