    Wouldn’t General Milley need to be reinstated to active status to court-martial him in the first place? If the pre-emptive pardon holds up, and I reckon it will be challenged at some point, could a court martial have any resulting consequences, such as a reduction in final rank, amendment to separation status, etc.?

    Wrong CRJ and wrong altitude. Too high for their route, but still too low for the AA CRJ’s TCAS to pick them up. Added to that is that I heard their flight path put them in the CRJ’s blind spot, as it was already established in a stable landing configuration.

    Something I haven’t seen mentioned so far, in the wake of all ex-President Biden’s avalanche of pre-emptive pardons. iIf you can now be pardoned for any crime you might have committed, but for which you have not been convicted, what is to stop a present or future President issuing pardons for future crimes not yet committed?
