    EV tariffs are coming across the Western world, because China are pushing hard to corner the market to rescue its economy. The best hope of the West is in solid state batteries, and that China does not make that leap first and is trapped relying on lithium ion batteries.

    When NASA does something right, the stories are fascinating. The science and ingenuity behind the Voyager program, the probes and the team keeping them operating, makes a compelling story, and, if you get the opportunity, watch the documentaries about it. Same with the Mars rovers. Much fuss is made about the problems at NASA, that the amazing successes are often overlooked.

    There may be some of that, but the majority remain the same professional fighting force the UK has always maintained. I remember tha last time international opinion of the UK military was so low. Going into 1982, the Soviet intelligence opinion of the UK armed forces was best described as dismissive. Six months and a small war in the South Atlantic later and Soviet intelligence had reassessed the situation and rated the UK military as the most capable in NATO. Then there are the UK special forces, still rated universally as the best there is. Mainly because they are all completely barking mad. ☠️

    Trump was only a Nazi as long as it was seen as assisting the Democrats campaign to win the presidency back in November. As soon as it was obvious he had won, the Democrat political wing ceased calling him that. All we hear now are the echoes in the media and the diehard liberals out in the wild. Because he is not and never was remotely close to being a Nazi.

    One minor inaccuracy in that graphic. In the 1967 Six Day War, Israel most certainly attacked first, striking Egyptian and Syrian airbases and rolling tanks across the Sinai. Although the Arab nations are widely thought to have been preparing an attack, Israel, aware of the military build-up along their borders, decided to get its retaliation in first. ☠️

    Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful for all the things that have added positivity to your life over the past year. 😇 Or rather, it’s a time to enjoy a day off work, loading your dinner plate so full even your eyes don’t believe your stomach can take it, and dropping into a food coma while the cat and the dogs collaborate to counter-surf for the leftovers you were physically unwilling to send to the garbage disposal. 😈

    I doubt it. He’s got another four and a half years before he has to call an election, and Labour has no-one with any name recognition left to supplant him. The last thing the Labour Party wants is to look like the Conservatives and change the head honcho.
