Nicola Sturgeon screwed up royally. Alex Salmond wasn’t great, but Nicola Sturgeon, with the misdeeds that took place under her administration, has wrecked the SNP and probably set back any chance of Scottish independence by at least a generation. Her name is poison in Scotland and they are an unforgiving bunch. Trust me, I’m outnumbered by them where I work. I’d still be interested to know if anything like this could be brought before the courts here. There is enough evidence out there to make people rather worried if so.

Well, Portsmouth can fill Fratton Park almost every home game and Wembley every time we get there (the novelty value is immense). The popularity of women’s matches is growing and I would expect the coverage of the Euros last year and World Cup going on currently to help that continue. Exposure and engagement are what the women’s game need. Right now, they are getting more of that.

When Barcelona’s Women’s side can pull in 90,000 crowds (women for the football, men to watch Alexia Putellas), the England women’s team can get 87,000 at Wembley and the worldwide push to televise the wWorld Cup, I think the women’s game is on a definite upswing. I hope they continue to do well 👍🏻

On this, I must disagree. When compared to tennis, the women play football, not a shortened, or simplified version of the men’s game. Not one half, but two. Not 60 minutes, but 90, plus time added for stoppages. All the same rules apply. When you look at the skill levels of the top teams, it’s up there. The physical strength may not be at the same level, but the tactical awareness and ability of the players is well worth watching. Not only that, but the women are markedly less cynical than the men, which tends to keep the matches flowing. And the entertainment value is just as good, if not better.

The propensity of the Democrats and their media cronies to bandy about serious words like “insurrection” and “coup” only shows their obvious contempt for the education level of the American public. Ask the Hungarians what a real insurrection looks like and then see how 1956 turned out for them. If you want to look back in history, look at Taiping, China, between 1850 and 1864 and then fathom how many people died. January 6th was not an insurrection by any sane definition of the word. And calling it a coup attempt is even more of a stretch. No sane person would try and equate what happened with Greece in ‘67, Pakistan in ‘99, or Ukraine in ‘04/‘05. January 6th was a protest at an election many believed to be rigged and still do to this day. Calling it anything else is a gross exaggeration.

I believe I have been very careful at not defending criminal acts. If the evidence supports the conclusion that what DJT did was indeed criminal, he should be prosecuted accordingly. What I will defend is his right to equal process under the law, which it is quite evident has not been and will not be afforded him. if he is to be prosecuted, then make it a clean prosecution, not driven by hyper-partisan political grandstanding and questionable ethical and moral practices, as has been the whole drive to prosecute him for something, anything, thus far. in addition, the long arm of the law needs to be applied equally. So far, only DJT has been subject to this level of persecution. For similar offenses, some even more egregious, those on the opposite side of the political aisle have skated free, through lack of “intent”, lack of mental capacity and sheer Democrat-ness. The law is supposed to be blind, but the current drive to avoid prosecuting crimes from the left is driving the disillusionment of the American public. This session of the Supreme Court has been the most bipartisan in a while, but you wouldn’t know it through all the screaming from the Left. America cannot survive without some semblance of fairness and balance in the justice system.

The military should be the ultimate meritocracy. It’s primary objective is to engage in combat and win and all efforts should be focused on attaining that objective. I personally have no problem with a serviceperson’s gender identity (unless it’s as a two-spirit penguin, aka Piers Morgan and I’ll have to beat you to death with a giant inflatable banana), but you will be accommodated per your biological sex at birth. i do not care about your race. If you have a problem with race, get angry, focus that anger, use it to become more deadly to your opponent on the battlefield. Earn respect as an individual (each serviceperson starts with none), advance and lead by example. Wars are not won by pandering to history. They are won by beating the opposition as efficiently as possible. Our military needs to be wholly divorced from political pandering, ideological constraints and profiteering. It needs to be trained and equipped to fight in the most effective manner possible, with the best tools it can get. That is all.

The “They” being referred to here are law enforcement, government department paramilitaries (EPA and FBI SWAT teams anyone?) and the National Guard, filled by the actual military upon declaration of martial law. The hits more than covered the misses. For Jack Smith, the talent is what is in question. His methods and ethics are questionable, and that runs to his team also. And for him, a strikeout is a really big deal. Unlike baseball, he doesn’t get a second bite at the cherry. If he loses, that’s it. With the documented misdeeds of some of his team already in the public domain, despite this case being nowhere near trial yet, his case is in trouble, even if the facts might back it up. Just one slight difference. Texeira disseminated the information intentionally. DJT waved a bunch of papers around (which do not feature in the current charges). The use of the espionage act is appropriate in the Texeira case, but a huge stretch in the DJT case, an over-charging scenario that should see him acquitted.
