    From what I have read, the most notable difference is that Orban was pro-Russian and Magyar is not. A big reason the Hungarian people voted out Orban was because his Fidesz party was perceived as a hotbed of corruption, one of the reasons that Magyar left the party in 2024. I think all those gloating over Orban’s ouster are in for a rude awakening, once the new PM gets himself established.

    I’ve never liked the guy. Always gives off the air that’s he’s a smug, self-important braggart. When he was a Euro MP, he delighted in being the loudest complainer in the room.Things haven’t changed much since. With the collapse of the Conservatives, the utter disaster unfolding with Keir Starmer’s Labour and the complete irrelevance of the Liberal Democrat’s, we could very well see a Reform government next time around, with Our Nige as PM. i think that would be a disaster.

    It’s not. The problem is that the main (only) party looking to change the policy from the previous incumbent(s) at 10 Downing Street is Reform, under the rather vile, pompous blowhard Nigel Farago. That is what is most worrying. ☠️

    The problem with the Babylonbee is that their stories are getting closer to outright believability than the mainstream media. So much so that I, for one, have regularly accused them of failing at satire and becoming a straight-up news site. ☠️

    My understanding was that they had S-300s and may have had S-400s, the ones the U.S. fell with Turkey over, but the S-500s are new.

    There are reports on social media platforms from a variety of sources that Russia has supplied Iran with at least one S-500 Prometheus SAM system. This is their top-line counter-air system, reportedly on a par with anything the U.S. can field. In my humble, non-military opinion, we have two options: 1. Find and destroy. 2. Send in Special Forces and capture one. Who Dares Wins ☠️
