  1. I could précis it down to one word, which would be the most appropriate word available in English, but its American interpretation would get me banned for a while. 🤫 He has no personal redeeming features. Throughout his political career he has been an obnoxious, overblown, self-aggrandising, political wannabe. Although unfettered immigration is a major issue, his brand of isolationism has been most detrimental to the political and financial stability of the UK. The problem is that the current Labour government is oppressive, inept and desperate to cling on until the next election, despite enormous buyers’ remorse amongst the electorate. The Conservatives are fading into obscurity, having royally made a hash of things last time around. The Liberal Democrat’s don’t even have to fade into obscurity. Which leaves Reform. And that is bad, bad, very bad. i might have to absentee vote for the Monster Raving Loony Party (again) next time around. ☠️
  2. Sending AOC to the Munich Security Conference to establish her foreign policy credentials. Sending HRC to the Munich Security Conference to argue that America under the current President is bad, only for the Czech Deputy PM to embarrass her in front of a live audience. Sending any Democrat to the Munich Security Conference, when SoS Marco Rubio pulls out one of the best thought-out speeches of his career to undercut every Democrat talking point. Seriously, why were the Democrat speakers there in the first place? Most Europeans take intense pride in their own countries. The looks of contempt on most of their faces when they see US opposition politicians roundly disrespecting everything about their own country tells a tale. When the media tells you Europe hates the current administration, remember that’s the narrative they’re trying to sell, not the reality.
  3. Going solely by the title of the article, I’d say he’s being the master of understatement. I completely agree that PM Keir Starmer is a bad, bad, very bad, but the UK has avoided far worse in my lifetime. The Great Welsh Windbag (Neil Kinnock) and the author of the Longest Political Suicide Note in History (Michael Foot), immediately spring to mind. And then there’s Jeremy Corbyn. Unfortunately, unless there is some miraculous intervention, Nigel Farage is likely to be the next PM. That’s a scary thought. ☠️
  4. You had word carvings and a cell???? All I had were a cave and stick figures chasing woolly mammoth. 😞
  5. It has been a while 😁
  6. I was out walking the dog ☠️ Even the ads this year were sub-par 🙁
  7. The difference now is that there is no need for a Josef Goebbels. The vast majority of the legacy news media is already firmly vested furthering socialist propaganda. Compounding the issue, those outlets that are on the opposite side of the political spectrum are firmly entrenched in their myopic worldview, too. And each or those echo chambers are firewalled against each other Until other, independent news sources gain sufficient traction, the American public who actually pay attention to the news will be grossly misinformed of actual events. This only plays into the protesters/activists/insurrectionists agenda, where the truth is antithetical to their cause.
  8. Hopefully, voting against a bill and a policy for which even 71% of Democrats are in favour will help this along. ☠️
  9. Good. Sue these barbaric animals into oblivion. ☠️
  10. A tan suit still is a scandal. I look ridiculous in one. 🫣
  11. What few people realise is that such actions as these mark the “protesters” as adhering far closer to the organisation and tactics of the nascent German National Socialist Party, especially the faction that morphed into the Sturmabteilung, than any branch of the current administration. ☠️
  12. Did you forget to in-mute your TV, too? 🤨
  13. Why should we be saved? 🤔 (Asking on behalf of my cat 🐈)
  14. Only if you forget to un-mute the video 🙉
  15. 1984 was about the state of the UK in 1948, when the elation about coming out of WWII was giving way to the grim reality of trying to recover from it without the economic resources remaining to do so.
  16. To everyone arguing the circumstances and responsibility for what is happening in Minneapolis, you’re missing the big picture. And that’s the point. Have you heard about the ICE-related deaths in Louisiana? No? Why not? Because there haven’t been any. Why not? ICE have been there for 30 days and there has been nothing in the news. Why not? The reason is simple. There was no reason for the mainstream media to publicise the Louisiana enforcement actions. Why not? Because no-one in Louisiana needs distracting from $9+ billion in fraud in which the Governor of their state is implicated. The incitement from the Governor, the State AG and the Mayor is a desperate attempt to deflect attention and the media are complicit. And it they are allowed to succeed, this country will be in serious trouble. ETA, if Governor Walz mobilises the National Guard to oppose ICE, the Seditious Six may find their treasonous words coming back to bite them big time. The irony would be delicious. ☠️
  17. This is NOT a drinking game … although the ubiquitous propagandizing makes me wish I had a bottle of Smirnoff Black Label in the freezer. ☠️ Everyone over- and micro-analyzing the shooting is missing an essential truth. Without the hyper-partisan framing of the ICE agents as the gestapo-like evil by the far-left politicians and their media lackeys and the hopeless radicalization of the left to advocate for those criminals in this country illegally, idiots like this woman would not be making dumb decisions like this. Until consequences are visited upon those stoking the hatred for law enforcement carrying out their duties, this is only going to get worse. 🙁
  18. Trump Leads SEAL Team To Capture Rogue Dictator Gavin Newsom POLITICS· Jan 5, 2026 · BabylonBee.com Copied SACRAMENTO, CA — Only days after the toppling of the Maduro regime in Venezuela, news broke Monday morning that President Donald Trump had led a Navy SEAL team to capture rogue dictator Gavin Newsom. Reports came in in the early morning hours that loud explosions had been heard near the governor's mansion, with multiple witnesses saying they saw Black Hawk helicopters flying low over the city. A statement from the White House later confirmed that communist despot Gavin Newsom had been apprehended by Navy SEALs under the command of President Trump. https://babylonbee.com/news/trump-leads-seal-team-to-capture-rogue-dictator-gavin-newsom ☠️
  19. The implicit collateral damage would be unacceptable. The Iranian people are not the enemy here. Also, we don’t need that much glass. Solar reflectivity, climate effects and all that jazz. ☠️
  20. I am stunned … nay, shocked, even … that the unwashed liberal hordes have not yet decried the President for executing this apprehension so that he could award himself the bounty offered by his predecessor. 😱
  21. The Iranian regime is unlikely to fall if the only dissent is mass protests. They have weathered enough of these in the past and are hard-headed enough to continue to do so. i think the only way this evolves into significant change is if a senior figure, or more than one, in the IRGC decides that they have better prospects if they back the current President, or even the exiled Crown Prince. It would be far more preferable for the civilised world if the protest organically led to a truly democratic, secular revolution. However, the military, and in particular the IRGC, hold the most leverage. What is worse is that any outside assistance could plunge the region into chaos, which makes it extremely unlikely that any help is coming for the protesters. ☠️
  22. In this case, I think there is at least a component of “follow the Chinese military personnel on site and neutralize their impact” to consider.
