  1. How is the civics studying going? I looked at your timeline, great response from USCIS from when you filed to interview date. I wish I could help with what to bring, I am wondering the same and every time I've asked elsewhere I get really unhelpful responses.
  2. Well done, I am in the same boat, been eligible for almost 10 years and realizing my GC expires in June pushed me to apply fast!
  3. 6 weeks from filing this Tuesday and no updares, strange how this proceupdates, or does not.
  4. So was your case showing some other status prior to the biometrics appointment?
  5. I'm in the same boat with taxes however don't have the interview yet. Good luck, I can't see them denying you because you don't have taxes done (was that a request in the interview letter?)
  6. Congrats on the interview date, hopefully more will come through soon as well. No tips for the interview sorry, as I'm waiting and wondering the same.
  7. Congrats on the interview date, I filed 3 days after you on a 5 year basis and no updates so hoping your timeline means I'll hear something soon.
  8. Waiting is torture. No changes, no updates nothing. Officially over 28 days since filing.
  9. Congratulations, that's awesome news considering the weather and potential impacts that could have caused.
  10. That's some good numbers for the test for sure, I hope they don't give me local representatives cos I could miss those. No interview yet so not really studying.
  11. So that's got to be good news right? Seeing as the time is an estimate only.
  12. Fingers crossed for you. Whatever happens it's going to be stressful, either waiting for a reschedule or having to travel during the weather, not fun.
  13. Sounds like what happened to me, I didn't get any online bio notice, it was in the letters sent out from application.
  14. I have so much to study right now with work I haven't been looking at the civics stuff really. Seems like at least 2-3 weeks to study from interview date letter if I'm reading most timelines correctly.
  15. Immigration lawyer I got a consult on for this particular section of the application. As it's been over 5 years since arrest he said it would have a lesser impact and character references couldn't hurt.
  16. It was one of the items I had indicated I uploaded to my application.
  17. First of all, you pulled one piece of my post and focused on that, I have a criminal record and was advised to get character references to support my application even though my record is almost 10 years old with no additional issues. Second, I wasn't aware that the interview letter contained requirements of what to bring, I'm glad you pointed that out , thank you.
  18. That does not help, more of what? I will have 4-5 more character reference letters on hand when I go to add to the uploaded one.
  19. As I impatiently await my interview date I am starting to think about what I will need to bring to the interview. For all those who have had their interviews, let me know if I'm missing anything from my current thinking list below. Tax returns dating back to 2017 Mortgage statements back to 2020 (we refinanced in 2020 and have lost access to statements earlier than then) Green Card scan Passport scan Daughter birth certificate scan Wife's naturalization scan Marriage Certificate scan Criminal records (certified copies from county) Character references I find it odd to have physical copies of uploaded documents but will take what I need and more.
  20. I'm so impatient with this, just want to know what's happening 🤣
  21. While I should be doing work, instead I'm checking my case status 🤣 Estimated decision time has come down to 6 months now.
  22. Checked myUSCIS, now down to 6 months estimated decision time.
  23. It's weird for sure, who knows what drives that number but if you take the description form the site it's based on the number of filers 5 years and older status.
