  1. Hi Jay Kay I have a question we are sending in the I485 however my husbands birth certifiacte is in spanish, does he have to have it translated to English? My mother did. I want to know if it has to be translated does it have to be notarized or could I do it myself. I Hope you can help me with this.

      Yes, you need to send a copy of his BC in Spanish and one that has been translated to English. Anyone fluent in both languages can do it. It does not need to be notarized. It needs to have this certification on it from the person that does the translation > http://www.visajourney.com/content/translations
