hey jay kay thank you for all your help so far! I called the NVC yesterday and they finally assigned our new case number!
my question is when can i schedule the interview? I understand we need the so called "packet 3" from Juarez but what if it does not arrive? How do we know when the petition is in Juarez already and that we can schedule an interview?- Show previous comments 10 more

Just one last question in sorry. :/ but I know for aos we need 125% met and I will have that by myself when aos time comes. But now my dad is cosponsor an he makes a little over the 100% for 6 people. With letter of employment can he be our cosponsor even if its in between the 100 and 125%? Do you think bank statements and retirement bank statement and house owning papers will work too? Again im intensively sorry or all the questions. But this is all so confusing at times and its a learning p...

I honestly do not know if CDJ is ok with the 100% for the I-134. The decision is always up to the individual CO. If the officer believes they will not become a public charge, then you will be approved, otherwise they may want a different co-sponsor. It will also probably depend on whether or not you earn any income at all currently. They just need an overall picture that the beneficiary will not need public assistance if granted the visa.

If it helps, CDJ has never seemed to be very strict about the financials. I do not know if that is changing over time or not, but hopefully they would accept the 100% + his assets. Just provide proof of the value and ownership of any assets he lists. The household size is 6? So, himself, his wife, your fiance and he has 3 other people he claims on his taxes?
