  1. We are waiting too! Checking email like every minute and mailbox everyday.

Sometimes no news is good news!! :-( Just hope for the best!

Same here and we agree with you as far as no news is good news. We stopped trying to understand or figure out their process because I don't think they even know day to day what they are doing and change rules and policy on a daily basis with no one to answer too.

  2. Just checked my mail

    Received:))))

Maybe because Im in Mass..very close to Vermont???

I get a new camera card, and I'll take few photos

    Material is nice and thick.

They have ingrained the fingerprint inside the card, very nice.

Comes also with nice paper envelope protector thingie...nice:)))

no, i meant dececion date on the notice is July 31...few days ago.

    Im a november 2011 filer.

I am in Mass also and a November filer and haven't heard anything yet. We filed later in the month of November so maybe we will hear oe see something in the next 2 weeks or so hopefully. Congrats on your approval and recieving your new card though.

  3. Its frustating long wait, you can't move. If you move and change the address, you may never get your card in hand. I wish they start approving ASAP.

Absolutely ridiculous! You would think they would send us an e-mail or letter informing us that they are running really far behind and with a target date as to when they might start approving. as it stands now it won't be until the very end of August, at the earliest. They didn't waste any time taking our money and cashing our checks though.

  4. tell me about it. my wife's noa was in november 8th and biometrics was in january 2012. we still haven't got the green card. i checked the online status at uscis.gov website. said it's still in "initial review". why is it so slow at the vt center?

This is a question that all Vermont filers would like answered. I guess we just got to be patient and eventually they will get around to approving everyone at their leisure. If you can't fight City Hall, then you surely can't fight the U.S. Government. Just sayin...

  5. Wat happen wit vermont ya 0 approve are userious ca 19 so far thats not fair ya

Me and my wife are saying the same thing. We filed on November 8,2011 and had her go for her Biometrics appointment in Boston on December 20th and haven't heard anything since. How would I be able to add our names to the Vermont list of those who filed in November 2011? What and where is the VJ Text editer located? Thank You for any help you could give us.

  6. @OP, your timeline is really messed-up. You have future dates in there for Filing ROC. You do know that the site uses timelines to estimate USCIS Processing & approval times, right? Doing things like that messes with the estimates.

Who do you think you are talking to in that manner and tone? I don't appreciate you trying to repremand me and sounding all authoritative. If you don't like the way my timeline is set up or if you ain't got nothing positive or helpful to say, then it is best you say nothing at all, especially not knowing who you are dealing with. Every single responder who replied to my posting has been extremly helpful and positive except for you and ONLY YOU!!!

  7. Yeah some people get them, some don't. Not sure what process they use to decide who gets one and who doesn't, seems odd.

Yea you would think they would have a more regulated set system. It is what it is I guess. Thank you for the reply.

I got one and I was surprised because I remember them telling that they won't send any reminders! nothing to worry about it, just file when it is time.

Thgank You. No, not worried, more curious as to why some do and some don't. All set and ready to file on november 10th.

  8. I noticed reading through topics that most, if not all people recieve some sort of Notice or reminder to file the I-751 Petition To Remove Conditions On Residence. My wifes file date is November 10th and we never recieved anything in the mail or via e-mail in regards to this. Anyone else run into this? Is it common? Is it a sign of a problem or a future delay? Thank You in advance for any input in this smalll but very important matter.

  9. should be on the visa in her passport or written on the stamp in her passport they placed near the visa on entry.

OK I got it. It is a CR-1. I am guessing it means a Conditional Residency Visa? It was issued on November 18th 2009 and expired on April 29th 2010. It also has printed on the Visa attached in her passport the following, Upon endorsement serves as temporary I-551 Evidencing permanent residence for 1 year. and Annotation **212(g)(2)(B) Whatever that means?

  10. K-1 visas are not issued green card with a start date of the US entry date. Its dated from when the adjustment of status was approved.

If she entered and got a green card in the mail without doing anything and the date is her entry date then she would have had to enter on a spousal visa. CR-1 for 2 year card and IR-1 for 10 year card.

Where would i find that information if it is a CR-1 or IR-1?

  11. What Visa did you wife used to enter US?

This might answer the question why you had a Temp 2yr Green Card.

Good point. I think I recall it being called a K-1 Visa, Maybe? I have to check. Thank You

Since it is a two year card and it expires on 2/8/2012, then you will need to file for the Removal of Conditions and you should send it in on 11/10/2011.

My advise to you is do not let your wife's card expire without having sent in your documentation.

If you would like, make an appointment through Infopass to see someone at your local office.

    Good Luck!

Thank You and yes I am putting the Petition package together slowly but surely each day a little at a time.

  12. Look at the green card. What are the issue and expiration dates?

If it is a 2 year duration then it is a conditional card and you would need to file to remove conditions. If it is a 10 year duration then removal of conditions is not required. Your spouse would be eligible to file for Naturalization 90 days prior to the 3 year anniversary of becoming an LPR/Green Card holder.

Yes it is a 2 year Permanent Residence Card that was issued on the date of arrival which was 2/8/2010 and expires 2/8/2012. but the question is why would that be if we were married on 9/30/2007 in the Philippines which was more than 2 years before entry into the United States? After all it is what it is and as long as she is approved and recieves the 10 year card, my mind will be at ease.

  13. If you got married in the Philippines and upon entering US, you and your wife has been married for 2 or more than years.. then she is eligible for 10 yrs GC automatically. But because your wife entered US below 2 yrs of marriage, then you still need to Remove condition. These two are commonly misunderstood, that you might have too. Good luck!

Actually in all reality we were married in the Philippines longer than 2 years before she entered the United States seeing that we were married on September 30th 2007 and entered The United States on February 8th 2010. This is my reason for my questioning and also my confusion. Is there a number i can call to find out and if so would i still be responsible to pay the fee involved? Just asking ...
