We met on a cold December night on a bus in Heidelberg/Germany in 1985. A little romantic relationship developed and lasted until he went back to the States three months later. Lost contact eventually and got back in touch 10 years later to be friends for another 13 years. So all together it took me only 23 years until it dawned on me that my Mr. Right was only an ocean away :-). I wouldn't call that hasty :-).
