    Married 3 years or 3 years-90 days to file N400 ?

    Hi!

    I am another confused soul here in the US.

    I am also concern on this 90-days to file N400.

    Here is my case:

    My husband became PR: 4/15/2006

    Petition us (Me and two kids) and became PR: 7/11/2010

    Husband apply US Citizenship: 8/1/2011

    Received Application by USCIS: 8/3/2011

    Biometrics Appt: 9/6/2011

    Interview date: 10/25/2011

    OATHTAKING: 10/25/2011

    Husband became US CITIZEN: 10/25/2011

    Based from these facts, when can I apply for citizenship? And when is the 3-years 90 days to file N400?

    • Have been living in marital union with the U.S. citizen spouse, who has been a U.S. citizen during all of such period, during the 3 years immediately preceding the date of filing the application and up until examination on the application
    • Be a permanent resident (green card holder) for at least 3 years immediately preceding the date of filing

    Any answer will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

    My husband is in Shoreline Seattle.

    actually alit the instruction and the link is in the letter that your father in law got and if you have updated nvc your email then you will also receive it in your email... but if none call nvc and update your email with them in that case it would be better for nvc to contact you whenever they will send you another letter or fees for you to pay.

    congratulations again! my husband is from seattle too.... hopefully, we can go there this july. our interview will be on the 24th of June. our medical will be on the 24th of May. wish us luck!
