Im planning to petition my daughter but I have trouble with her birth certificate. She is using my middle name and my last name when i was single because me and my ex is not married. I went back to the Philippines last June to visit my family and to get my daughter's passport. When we are in DFA window the lady told me that my daughter should not use my middle name because it will be likely look that we are sister. So since I dont have time for fixing her Birth certificate at that moment coz I only have 2 weeks vacation I told the woman that ok just take my daughters middle name. In short in Passport she only have her name, and my Maiden last name. Now im back here in Chicago i ask my mom to fix my daughter's BC the NSO told my mom that she can use my maiden middle name because its optional to use or not.... Im worried that if i will file the petition I will have a problem because the birth certificate is different to her passport...please give me an advice ...is there anyone who have the same problem??/ thank you
