I met David on Facebook on April 29th 2008. I commented on a statement he had under a picture in "owned". It said "one of the nice guys". Being as though he was from Norway I didn't expect a friendship to evolve but it did and soon turned to much more even though we had never met. We messaged everyday, chatted on FB and eventually made our first Skype call to talk..and it was wonderful to hear the voice of the man I had grown to love. In July 2008 I went to Norway (against most family members advice) and spent 2 months there. David came to the states to spend Christmas holiday with me and meet my family, he went back to Norway in the middle of January 2009. On November 10th 2009 he came back to the states and we talked of marrying , and did so on November 27th 2009. David is now back in Norway after being here with me for 3 months (VWP) and we are awaiting for the decision on either the I-130 or I-129f. We talk daily and I miss him alot. I cannot wait til he returns "home" and we can start our life together without all the waiting we have done, like so many others like us.
