Ulaiporn and I met through a website called Thailovelinks. I have always been skeptical of meeting anyone online but I must say it was different than I imagined. After meeting we quickly started chatting daily and quickly found that had a lot in common and we really liked each other. After more time chatting and some phone calls we finally met (June 09) and fell in Love. Since then we call twice daily and we have met 3 additional times so far and on 9/9/2009 we became engaged in Thailand. It was the most exciting event and really wonderful. Ulaiporn's family are the nicest people you ever wanted to meet and since the first time they treat me like their son.
We have been working on our paperwork since September sending papers back and forth and talking with lawyers here and there. We finally submitted in November and received our NOA1 on Dec 7, 2009. Now we are checking this site daily in hopes that the VSC site will process contact us soon. We will marry twice! Once for her family and friends in Thailand and once for my family and friends here. My dad can speak a little Thai and looks forward to meeting Ulaiporn soon.
