  1. Looking at recent timelines it has been around 4-8 months for folks with pending I-751s.
  2. Unfortunately the Tier 1 officer you spoke to was probably just plugging in your application date and telling you the "in processing time" window. i.e. it was not specific to you or your actual case. You can see that info yourself if you plug in your service center here and once it gives you the estimate, scroll down to here: here:
  3. Looking back through timelines for Potomac it looks like nobody has updated a timeline w/ biometrics since October (that was an August filer). This rings true with someone in a group I'm with who filed in September and hasn't heard anything on biometrics yet...
  4. I shipped mine using UPS and just bought their smallest document size shipping box when I brought my package in. Yes - the only signatures are the beneficiary (GC holder) on page 7, and their USC spouse on page 8.
  5. But I hope we might get lucky and see early movement like some of these other “approved in 5 months” cases.
  6. Part of me worries that if it does speed up it'll be primarily for newer filers versus the poor folks who've already been waiting a long time
  7. Alright, NOA letter in hand dated as received January 9, NOA dated as January 10. So them receiving it to me getting the extension letter was exactly 8 days after they received my package (also including a holiday for MLK day).
  8. Did you both sign the I-751? Did you enclose the correct payment amount? Did you include a copy of your greencard front and back? If so, try not to worry at this point.
  9. Depending on the date her conditional GC expires, she might not be inside of the 90 day filing window yet. Whatever you do do not file before the window opens or it will be rejected. For quite a lot of applicants their biometrics from their original GC get reused so it is possible she won’t have to attend an appointment.
  10. You can probably get away with just tax transcripts not the actual filings.
  11. Yup, we filed quarterly bank statements and still the pack was massive. For reference my package included: 1) Immigration/Identification Documents a. Copy of Permanent Resident Card b. Copy of Marriage Certificate c. Copy of Drivers Licenses 2) Tax Return Transcripts & Leases a. Tax Return Transcripts – Married Filing Jointly (2020 & 2021) b. Joint leases (2018 – Present) 3) Bank Statements and Beneficiary of Retirement/Investment Accounts: a. Bank Statements - Joint Checking and Savings Accounts (2020-2022) b. Bank Statements of Joint Credit Card (2020-2022) c. Beneficiary Statements of Life Insurance Accounts and Retirement/Investment 4) Utility Bills & Car/Rental Insurance a. Internet and Electricity Bill Statements b. Car and Rental Insurance Documents 5) Photographs and trip itineraries
  12. I included pretty much what you're referencing and ours was ~4lbs. I guess it depends how much you are using your bank accounts/joint credit card as that was the bulk of our packet. If we had been able to print double sided that would also have saved a lot of paper but the paper filing guide advises against that.
  13. Check was cashed 3 working days after mine was received (received 9th, cashed the 12th). I'd guess you'll see it by Thursday/Friday.
  14. Informed delivery shows my NOA out for delivery today and it was mailed just 3 days after my I-751 was received.
  15. You could also be a bit sneaky and file an e-request for missing notification and see if that jolts them into scheduling yours.
  16. I did. Not sure if it was related but I received my text notification ~48hrs after my package was delivered (via UPS) and my NOA is on its way.
  17. Hi there. Would it be possible to get this update made please?
  18. I'm wondering if it might be worth creating some sort of shared spreadsheet that snapshots these over time for different service centers. It seems like you're doing it manually @OldUser and I wonder if it would be helpful for folks to be able to see where/when cases are being processed.
