We're on the same boat. Di din ako nakapagphoto copy ng copy ko. I'm planning to make another one na lang. Kasi handwritten lang din ang binigay ko sa NVC.

Do I need to prepare the supporrting documents for AOS like the W2, employment letter, payment stub at the interview? Do CO will really look on that? Should I also bring the secondary proof of my identity and my petitioner's identity?

My interview was scheduled on February 01, 2011. My husband is now planning to book an airline ticket for me within this week. I told him it might not be a good idea. We should wait after my interview. But he said, booking a ticket earlier will save us $$. Is it really a good idea for my hubby to book a ticket for me already? He's planning for my flight on February 14 ( Valentines Day here in Philippines so that when I arrived there in US it's Valentines Day there. I know my...

Hi again. Just found out that someone from the Philippines got a Jan. 10th interview. But her case is expedited though. After she paid her AOS fee, her expedite request was approved and her case was then sent to the US Embassy in Manila. I'm just wondering why the NVC told you January is full. So I'm thinking if the NVC schedules for our interview dates, is it possible we call the embassy and try to ask if we can get an earlier date.
-
Just read a thread. A K-1 filer just got ahold of the US embassy in Manila and she was told the available dates for January are 6,7,10,11,12,13,14,18,19. Sorry if I have bothered you with this. I just want to help and maybe you can be accommodated in Jan. Sucks tha we'd have to wait months again for the interview schedule.

No worries! I appreciate you being informative. I've been calling the NVC but I am just getting the same answer so I got sick and tired of it so I'll better wait for the 2nd week of January to call them. If I will not be able to get a February then, that's the time I will complain. I also called the embassy and they are about to give me a schedule for January but they couldn't because our case is not yet in their system.

Sis, try to call the NVC maybe your case is already completed and better talk at around 6 am usually operator at night are not that helpful. Keep me posted!

Our case has just completed yesterday. I spoke this guy from the NVC and told me that January interview is already full. So, I am wondering if I can just call the embassy to make some arrangement and beg them to give me a January interview date? Will that be possible? If yes, how? Thanks!

Maybe because her interview will be in China embassy that's why. Manila embassy is already full on January. I will just call the NVC on the second week of January for the follow-up. I'm really praying for leaving on February because it is the love month and my hubby's birth month. Merry Christmas too! -) Sorry for late reply. Been so busy these last days. How's your papers going on? Hope all is well.
-
Ooh right! Sorry, I forgot that hahaha! Maybe because I've been reading too much in here that I tend to neglect the obvious. Thanks for asking sis. Everything is in NVC now. I'm just a little pissed with their AVR keep saying they're waiting for my AOS when it fact it's been delivered a week ago. Oh well, I'll hope they didn't lose it.

Finally, we're done with the National Visa Center. Unfortunately, January interview schedule is fully occupied. February please come on down! February, oh my February....
