  2. hi

Just wanted to update you guys that I also got an email from NVC with DS-3032 and AOS processing bill. It was a pleasant surprise, wasn't expecting it to come that soon. (PD April 2007, Case approved Sept 2009).

Mitch, Just like Raymon said, I am pretty sure, we'll hear about you telling us that you've got the AOS bill email pretty soon.

Raymon, are you doing the email version to send DS3032 back. I guess I'll be doing both.

Also need to find out when should one pay the AOS bill, should it be after NVC receives DS3032 ? I think many people have already asked this question and I can search it on VJ, but am just lazy today, so will await anyone's response/input.

    Hang in there guys.

    Hey twulf,

Yes a personal letter, and then just explained everything what errors you made. Send it to this address (see below) and make sure to include the case#, petitioners and beneficiary's name and DOB. This is the address they gave me when i made my 1st request by email.

    ATTN: WC

    31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 200

    Portsmouth, NH 03801-2915

    Hope this helps Mitch. :innocent:

  7. Hey guys, so I just wanted to let you guys know on May 14 I am going to go back to lebanon until october 20.. I just called NVC and the automated mech. Said in 90 days the benificary will recieve information within 90 days.. So I will be in lebbanon to help my husband with his papers (mitch) you know what I mean.. LOL So I hope its not going to effect the papers considering I will be in lebanon..

    any thoughts guys..

Hey lebanese girl, just make sure you wont overstay by more then 6 months, otherwise you may have

domicile issues when time comes for husbands VISA processing.

  8. hi Raymon, i was just wondering what documents did you submit for another beneficiary? i dont have to add anyone but i honestly, errorneously, accidentally answer "stepson" as a relationship instead of a "SON" of my beneficiary.. i was stupidly thinking that they were asking for the relationship of me as the petitioner and our baby which is my stepson... now i know i have to correct that to --- son of the beneficiary--- and i was thinking i'll do that when my priority date is already current for processing...

does anyone knows what to do for that honest mistake that i did???? pls??? now that i know i can already correct that???

Hey Mitch, just send them a letter requesting to update petition to include your son as additional

derivative beenficiary; make sure to included photocopies of birth certificate, marriage contract and

your green card (front/back). Give them a month after request was sent, you can then email NVC to inquire if docs

    were received and petition updated.

  9. Raymon, let's cross our fingers to that.. if it takes and if it'll help to cross my toes i would! hahahaha....

i pray you'll have the angel's tounge so whatever you say will come true... let's update each other since we both have similar priority dates.

Mitch, i've been doing that since the start of this year..hahaha. Your right are PD's are similar so let's keep updated. BTW just received letter from NVC, and they updated my petition to include my son as

additional derivative beneficiary. HAPPY ME!!

    One down...more to go!!

    Sis..quick question.

About the baby..did you bring her to St luke for her Medical Exam? and do you have to wait in line same as others or they gave you some special consideration since you have a baby in hand.

  14. thats all good RAYMON.... we wont get our dollar if we dont have that 2cents.... so i can have that... and there's a chance too that they can go faster that we think... everything that we all have are all either predictions, feelings, personal views, and personal calculations..... i can hang on to that small hope that i have for they CAN BE faster than that.......

Your right Mitch..and like i said lets just hope and pray. :innocent:

  15. Hi twulf,

I said that because I have been reading and observing the movement of the visa bulletin for our category. Every year (NVC) starts their Fiscal year on october 1rst and ends it on september 30th. Currently we are in FY 2010 which started in Oct 2009 and ends Sept 2010, this is how they allocate the visa numbers each year for the GC lottery, GC categories (through employment and family-based visas). Notice from the archives that each year in October they move fast and after some months they start moving slowly (a month or less than that).

The case below applies to our visa categories besides the employment based visas.

Explanation of Stagnation of Priority Dates

The Visa Bulletin explains the reason for the unchanged cutoff dates in some of the EB categories, noting that many of the EB categories were unavailable at the end of FY2009. This resulted in a high level of demand for visa numbers at the beginning of FY10, in October and November 2009.

    ©MurthyDotCom

The demand is created by approvals of adjustment of status to permanent residence (I-485) cases and immigrant visa approvals. The USCIS has been processing more I-485 cases, thus utilizing more visa numbers. When the USCIS processes enough cases to use the available visa numbers, then the DOS does not face the possibility of having immigrant visa numbers that go unused. The DOS often moves the cutoff dates forward in an attempt to increase the volume and rate of number usage during a given fiscal year. When USCIS processing happens more efficiently and at volumes high enough to deplete the available immigrant visa numbers as they become available, the DOS does not need to expand the number of cases eligible for approval by moving the cutoff dates forward. Of course, depletion of the universe of cases with priority dates before the cutoff date means the dates will have to move forward at some point.

Predictions of Priority Dates for FY10©MurthyDotCom

The Visa Bulletin for January 2010 provides some helpful predictions for the future movement of cutoff dates in the EB categories for the fiscal year 2010, which ends September 30, 2010. Of course, these are only predictions based on estimates of demand from various countries for immigrant visa numbers.

I guess your right...processing tends to move faster during the months of July to Sept. prior to closing of USCIS yearend calendar date. I did some checking on the archives for the last two years and during those months it moveds at a range of 3-4 months.

Currently they are processing the Mar 2006 and assuming that they are moving at a rate of 1 month only, and by July or Aug it jumps to over 3 months....i think its safe to say then that by Oct. 2010 we will see the PD of Jan 2007.

But then again..thats just my two cents..

  16. a fellow ...SOFEA.... from here has PD nov.2006 and is now on going... paying bills and all that... ours is like months after that.. and mind you, February just started... im pretty strong withmy predictions... heheheheheh keep the spirit up my friend.

    Hey mitch...

Already got the VISA Bulletin for March 2010...current date for F2A is April 2006.

    wweeh...im really excited now.
