  1. hi kuya! what address did you send all of your documents? Sabay sabay mo ba pinadala ung AOS and ds230? pls let me know...thanks!

    Kareen

Like i said, i send my documents to the address showing on the bar coded sheet you printed from

the online payment center and not from the address on the check list note. Mas na una yung AOS, yung

DS-230 mga 2 weeks later. I have problem kasi getting my sons passport.

  2. hi everyone! we have sent just yesterday ALL of our documents to the address that they sent us through the checklist email. And now as i have opened my email, 2 letters we're from NVC telling us where to send the AOS and DS230 with the barcode sheet. Im confused now, there are 2 different address that we're enclosed and still different from the checklist that they have sent us. Now im not sure again of everything

    Kareen,

That happen to me as well when i got a checklist note showing two conflicting addresses, but per advise

from NVC operator i send my DS-230 to the address on the bar coded sheet that i printed from the

Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center. Since you since you already send it, i think that would be OK,

just make follow a week after just to make sure thety received your docs.

  3. Hi everyone!!!

My husband already paid the $70.00 fee.

Do he need to download the i-864 form and fill it up then send it to NVC?

or he will receive the form thru snail mail?

after we choose the Choice Of Agent... what is the next step?

AOS is the next step after the choice of agent; And as soon payment status shows "PAID"

go the link provided and download the form(I-864). Just make sure to attached the bar coded

sheet when sending that to NVC. After NVC have received and reviewed the I-864, they will email

you pay the IV Fee Bill

  4. Hi Raymon, NVC already received the DS 3023 that my husband sent. And I paid the AOS fee and sent my I1864 last May 17. Im just wondering why they haven't bill me for the IV fee? Did I sent my I1864 early, am I missing something on the process?

I got that as well when my DS-230 was delayed for about 2 weeks due to passport issue with my son.

just wait for about 2 weeks from the date you send your I-864...

im pretty sure you will have it by month end.

  5. Hello everyone, Im so glad to find this thread about an LPR filing an I-130 for there spouse. My priority date is July 30, 2007, and just received an email that i need to pay $70.00 for the AOS which i did. And i already sent the AOS to NVC but no confirmation that they receive it. Just call last night, and they got the DS 3023 last May 17, 2010.

I very glad that the processing is getting faster than expected. Cross our fingers that our long wait will soon be over.

    Goodluck to everyone.

Thanks and goodluck to you as well Missy.

  6. ah ganun ba un? i texted her last night coz im so confused about it. she said that she didnt send anything like that before. Just today we received another letter CHECKLIST, we havent send anything yet to NVC because we are waiting for our daughter to be added in the petition and they are saying that we have missing info.maybe because we havent submitted anything just yet. anu po ba dapat gawin when u receive a checklist?

Kareen, they always send you the checklist if they havent received anything from you in weeks.

I got that as well when my DS-230 was delayed for about 2 weeks due to passport issue with my son.

Dont worry about that, just send the I-864 and the DS230 to the address provided on the bar coded sheet you printed from Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center.

  7. you are always welcome.. and im just sooo sooo happy that you're done with all the headaches... and just to let you know that we're not done with you! hahahhaha... you still have all of us here for us to bother and bug you for questions.. so pls stay for us who are still running through the maze to have answers from your pro! but if you really will leave the site, i have your number anyway.... ehehehhehehehe...... congratulations my friend!

p.s do you think a person who filed for bankruptcy can be a joint sponsor?

Im so glad as well that wer done with the NVC process, and cant wait for the medical and interview.

no worries Mitch, im always be here to help you guys for your questions. With regardx to your question

i think that would not be an issue provided the joint sponsor should be able to prove that she/he

currently meets the income requirements, so proof of current income such as recent pay stubs or a

    job letter is definitely required.

  8. wow! in no time you will have your interview soon raymon! good luck! by the way dyu got my num?

Thanks Yna, yes i got your number. wife is still out of town so hopefully once shes back i will

have her call you. im sure you cant wait for the 26th huh? :D..have a safe trip.

    Congrats Raymon. Great news.

Kareen, you too.. another step forward

Thanks Twulf...cant wait for the medical and interview sched.

  9. Our case was completed last April 21, 2010. I spoke with the NVC operator and said I dont have my schedule yet.. have to wait until this coming June since what theyre processing right now is Dec of 2006, and our PD is Jan 2007.

Anyway, I have a question., what are the odds of an LPR petitioning a child and a spouse to be ask from embassy to undergo a DNA test? am just wondering.. Again, congratulations..

Hopefully, we will be done on this journey with the help of GOD Almighty.

Chakadoll, that is only applicable to child born abroad and one of the parent is a US Citizen.

i think you will see lots of these cases with K1/K3 Visa application.

i dont know sis... i dont even want to visit VJ for now... im all tired and will have an appointment to talk to an immigration lawyer tomorrow... ill be handling all the paperworks to him and he'll take care of all the process... im already drained out and almost this close to just have my husband over.... have to leave the stepson behind and hell just petition him when he's here... if its just going to be my hubby, he could be here by august.... i paid everything, but cant submit AOS because of the passport photocopies....

it might take me time to come back here... im just not into all the process anymore.... have to hibernate first and save some energy to live one day at a time.

Mitch, just keep on praying and hopefully everything will be ok.

we have waited this long for years so hang in there.

anybody here from residing in seattle aside from rjam and sonny&sunny? let's meet up guys when we get foot in seattle.. :)

post it here for us to know if you are residing in seattle.

Maam Yna, dunno why you wont able to PM me...pwede sa yahoo lang naku: rey_monnt@yahoo.com. BTW Seattle is a very nice city..the only drawback its FREAKING COLD during winter. so you better bundled up for good.!

  12. Magdilang Anghel ka sana Yna!!! My priority date is September 24, 2008, as of now my only wish is that to be with my hubby this coming christmas, it's just 7 months to go... How i wish that everything will keep on moving smooothly. May our loving God let me and my daughter to celebrate xmas with our "Papa", if that happens this will really be the happiest and most memorable christmas we will celebrate.

Fiscal year for 2010 usually ends on September and FY 2011 begins on October 2010. Based on my what

ive seen processing usually moveds faster during the later months of June to August. Just keep your

fingers and toes crossed and hopefully you will spend your holiday season with hubby.

  13. oh my alit if you want it in a rush then he can pay the affidavit of support fee using his credit card online there's an online payment for that and if you are going to process it by june when he gets home i am pretty sure visa bulletin will be up like 3-4months of move i guess coz nvc is very fast nowadays.. and again if you will do it on june then it's all up to you anyway it's just a matter of one month from now... so again you can pay it online and you can do the paper works when your hubby gets home...

Congrats Yna! Thanks for the info., we are so happy and really excited for all this blessings that has been happening for the past 2 months. My father in law sent all the letter thru mail here in the Philippines, so that we can decide what to do coz we really don't have any idea yet about this whole process. I'm very thankful that i found this forum because it gives me a lot of reference and information regarding this whole process. My hubby is a little bit amazed coz i do know what is the next process after the other one... Now i introduced this forum to him so that he could have an idea... Thanks to all VJ members...

    Thanks Yna and congrats again

    Alit,

The Consular electronic payment center will not accept Credit Card Payment only DEBIT.

  14. Thanks Raymon for your answer... there computations of required poverty guideline is a YEARLY INCOME of the sponsor???

    Am I right?

I got another question... My priority date is July 2008, Can I ask NVC now if we can add our 3kids in my petition,

can I send email to NVC? Do i need to arrange our necessary documents or just wait?

When my father in law petition my husband, he declare that my husband has 3 children.

I believe he (father in law) pay some additional charges for my kids.

That's why I want to ask NVC regarding on my kids status.

Yes that would be the gross annual income. By the way you mentioned about your

father-in law petitioning you husband..what category is he anyway ??

  15. Hello everyone!!!

I hope someone can help me and explain the 2009 Poverty Guidelines for Immigrant Visa Processing

    Here it is:

    SIZE OF FAMILY UNIT: 5

    125% of Poverty Guidelines: $32,238

Our household size is my husband, me and our 3 children, a total of 5...

To qualify my husband as a sponsor, hes must demonstrate that his income is at least 125 percent of the current Federal poverty guideline... The household size of 5 is equal to $32,328...

Sorry for my ignorance but IS THIS COMPUTED BASE IN A YEARLY INCOME OF THE SPONSOR?

"I don't know how to make mytimeline that's why I just make it on my signature... sorry"

    Sonny&Sunny,

He must earned at least 32,328 to meet the required poverty guideline for a family of 5.

If not then he can get a joint sponsor.

  16. raymon, thank you for the greetings i really appreciate it :) about your question, if you are sure that you will have your interview this june then just don't let your son have his vaccine coz it will just delay the process and if you are sure that you will have your interview this coming july then make it sure that it's ending date of july coz otherwise it will delay the whole process... just like my daughter's..

about the tuberculin skin test, after one day the doctor will check it for what the result may be... and if it is positive your son will have his xray jsut like my daughter :) coz if it's positive they are worried if the child has/had tuberculosis... that's why if the result will come out positive they are required to have x-ray test actually both of my kids went x-rays and came out negative. so don't panic i know everyone in your family is healthy not has not experience tb at all. :)

are you the petitioner or your wife?

yes i am from cebu and sure your wife can call me i also have international number as well... if she's from the us.

Yna, thanks for answering my question. im just so worried about that tuberculine skin test, might cause

additional delay. His suppose to have one this May..so just to be on the safe side might cancelled that

for the time being and have his vaccination after they are done with the medical.

I am the petitioner and my wife is the bene..can you pm me your number in Cebu.

    Thanks Yna.
