its almost 3 months and still no Oath Ceremony letter.  I check online and status still showing " We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number NBC********, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. I called the customer service and they said they will mail the notice withnin 30 days. 

Does anybody had the same experience from the Irving Texas location waiting this long for oath ceremony

Hi Everyone

Just had my interview yesterday at the IRving Texas field office......and i passed it..wohooooo!

It was a quick interview, i timed it and took me just 15 minutes. 

My appointment was 12:15  and i got called @ 12:45. By 1pm i was out.. :-)

Good Luck to the rest of the March 2017 filers . !!! 

Finally just received my Interview Letter.....mi schedule for August 8, 2018.. Eoe....it's been over a year..

What do you think is needed from the courts?  dad's release of custody? 

if she can get that then she can then file the i-130? and does the child's surname needs to be transferred to her maiden name?

i have a relative who is a US citizen by marriage but divorced years ago. After her divorce she is back to using her maiden name.  Before she left for the US she had a daughter (15 yrs old) born out of wedlock and now wanted to petition her. Thought she was not married with the child's father, the child is using the his surname. My question is would that be a big issue during the petition ?  do you think an immigration lawyer is really needed for this kind of process?

Bio-Metrics and FP completed yesterday. The whole process took 1 hour and 15 mins. 

Now we wait......

My fingerprint appointment is this coming April 27 @ 10am. ( Dallas, Texas). Does is need to be on the appointed time.?

is it okay if i come later in the afternoon, around 1-2pm.

Not yet but its coming. Per email and text i received yesterday from USCIS  " Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number NBC**********.

I also used that same form but have no issues. i send out my application 3/29/2017 and received a text and email yesterday that my N400 was accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. You may have to call National Customer Service Center (NCSC) by phone at (800) 375-5283  or email at LockboxSupport@uscis.dhs.gov  why your application was rejected.

yes , since arriving last December 2011 on a family based petition F2A category.

That is why the 3 year rule does not apply in her case. 

Needs to be 5 yrs residency rule.

I guess you filed from outside USA?

We are residing in Dallas, Texas. We just decided to include 2 photos in any case they are needed.  I saw that on the current docs checklist that photos are not needed if filing in the US.

But i have also read from a different thread that during the interview the officer was looking for the photos even thought the N400 was submitted January 2017.
