Hi Everyone~

i've submitted i-751 to remove condition and i've received NOA which states my conditional resident status has been extended for one year.

my california driver's license has expired already, but when trying to extend CA driver's license DMV is asking for copy of new permanent resident card.

DMV is also requiring copy of expired permanent resident card and i-797 NOA extension letter which we have.

if i understand correctly the new permanent resident card wont arrive until condition is lifted.

Then my question is, do i have to wait until i receive new card before driving again?

Did anyone run into similar situation?

Hi Everyone~

We got married overseas and wife is US with CR-1. Do we need to contact California Office of Vital Records to register/report our marriage status? is this legally required? if we don't, will this negatively affect AOS process?
