What a great post and so nice to see My husband and I were together for 5 years before we got married (coming up on 7 years together) and we saw each other every weekend. I was absolutely certain that I wanted to marry him. The process was long but well worth it and while things aren't perfect...we disagree over stupid day to day things but for the most part he is an amazing, funny, caring, wonderful man who spoils me rotten and I feel very blessed to have him as a life partner.

moemac59 got a reaction from Lana & Mauro in First Green Card issued expires in Nov 2014 - what do you need to do to renew it?
    Hi Mauro,
You will have to apply for removal of conditions (see link below). This will give you a better idea of what you will need to start collecting to prepare your paperwork.
    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/310-general-faqs-for-removing-conditions/
You will apply 90 days before your conditional green card is set to expire. Do not file earlier than that as they may send your application back.
I belive that the permanent residency gc is good for 10 years. Not sure how long processing time will take. Guess it depends on how busy USCIS is.
    Good luck

My hubby bet me that the US women's and men's team would both take gold. I bet him that Canada would take both. I won. He had to run down the street with the Canadian flag screaming that Canada had the best Olympic teams and that we ruled the Olympic hockey world while wearing a sign on the front that said Team Canada Olympic hockey rocks. Foolish man he never should bet against the power of red and white.

Yes I did!! It was fantastic and I beat Pammy Anderson's time!! It was the race of a lifetime. Almost bonked at 18 miles but kept going. Mile 23-24 were the toughest. I felt like a rock star with the amount of people that were out cheering and was very depressed after it was all over. That had been on my bucket list for the last 4 years and will be an experience that I will never forget!
I feel in love with NYC!!! The amount of security and cops was insane but I never felt safer in my whole life. Even the security at the race expo was crazy

LOL! No way as that is too much like Daddy. I call him grandpa to bust his balls since he still acts like a teenager some times. Keeps him in line. I personally think that he looks like Will Sasso from MadTV.

Spareows, welcome to the waiting game of USCIS and US Gov't. Everytime I would call USCIS and speak to a Tier 2 agent regarding my AOS application it was a different answer from the that I got before. I learned that I had to develop a really thick skin when dealing with these people. Some where rude and some were not. Just luck of the draw of who I spoke to on the phone.

If you are concerned that you are being scammed, then I would definately follow the advice of the above post immediately. Once you have done this, then wash your hands of the whold situation and just be thankful that you may have dodged a potential bullet.

My husband has a melt down if there is no reading material for him in the bathroom. He wants to renovate our half bathroom downstairs. He said that it is too cramped to take a pooh down there. Guess he needs room to spread out.

My husband is the king of taking a pooh. He has to pooh in the morning right after he lets the biggest fart rip. He will sit on the toilet for at least a half hour and read...doing this naked I might add. He then comes home at lunch and does the same thing and then again after work and then right before bed. That dude can read 3-4 books a week. I always say it is where he does his best thinking. If we go out anywhere, he has to come home first and use the toilet as he cannot go in a public place. He is such a weirdo. I aksed him about the getting naked thing and he says it is because he works up such a sweat. Again weirdo but I love him...sorry I know that this is TMI but you asked so I told.
I usually go maybe once every second day and when it happens, it goes quick....no way am I sitting in the can sniffing out my own brand!!! If we are on vacation, forget it...major constipation.

    Good point Peter Pan,
I would go one step further ASAP and get a PO box for mail/Safety Deposit box so that any confidential paperwork is put into a safe place. Since your husband has gone to this length to deceive you, you nevery know what else he is capable of and what paperwork he may take so that he can ROC. Call me paranoid but if I were in your shoes, I would take any precautions against this scammer.
Sorry about your situation. This is extremely unfortunate.

People are not being dramatic. The title of this post is very misleading and the other people posting out there want to ensure that the correct information is available. For you to say that people are dramatic is a bit insensitive. If I was waiting for a petition that was taking over 8 months or longer to be approved, while being seperated from my loved one then I would be, in your a opinion, a bit "dramatic" in correcting the OP.
You might want to think about that before you post a comment about being dramatic.

You may even want to go one step further and bring a letter from your employer stating the date of your return to work. I had a template of this letter at work and would just change the dates of travel on it and then would printit on company letterhead and get my boss to sign it. Whenever I crossed over (every 2nd weekend) I always had a copy of my NOA 1 then 2 after it was issued, the letter from my employer, a copy of my lease agreement and the most current copy of utility bills, cable bill, and bank statement. I got a hassle once and then pulled out all this info. When the US CBP agent saw all of this, he laughed and asked how I knew to bring all of these items with me. I told him research. They just want to see that you have ties to Canada, that you have filed your paperwork and have the intent to return to Canada and wait until your visa is issued. When you visit, always come back the day that you say you are returning and make sure that you always have a return ticket as USCIS CBP agents will check this.
