Crazy totally=ratings. I can't stand that grifter Anfisa. Her personality just angers me. She is a spoiled child who looks like a porn star. She needs to stop with the fillers and lip injections.

AS many of you probably already know about my situation with my Egyptian fiancee Basim I am now starting to have some second thoughts about the situation. I don't know if it's just cold feet and a temporary feeling or if this is my own personal intuition telling me to change my mind before it's too late. Everyday I learn something new about my fiance and most of the time the things that I learn are not great things. he is told me that he's allergic to different types of animals and I'm an animal lover. He told me that he is now caring for and acting as father to his niece.and now I realize that some of his interest may conflict with mine and is not just religious based. I am sure I am NOT the only one out here who has had these types of doubtful feelings so please if anyone is out there who had cold feet, second thoughts, doubts, or trust issues, please send me your words of wisdom. I feel bad for any new K1 applicants that they have to wait that much longer. I guess that we were lucky that we went thru the process when we did.
Aw thanks so much. The citizenship application/civics test and interview was the easiest out of the whole process. I was in and out of the interview office within 15 minutes and was told by the IO right after my interview that he was approving my N400 application.

Hang in there. You have a few months to go unless any hiccups occur in your K1 application process. In the meantime, while you are waiting for your K1 petition to be approved, start doing your research to see what the next steps will be in your immigration journey. See what documentation you will need to collect before you go to Montreal for your K1 visa interview. Maybe print off the forms that you will need for packet 3 and fill these out as sample forms that you can use when you assemble that packet.
Start researching the AOS application and what this will entail (you will have to file this upon entry to the US after marriage). Check out some of the other forums here on VJ.
Researching the immigration process from K1 visa to AOS to ROC to citizenship will give you a better idea of what your immigration journey will entail and help you prepare for the next application that you will have to submit. This is what I did throughout the whole immigration process and it made the time fly by quicker.
Being separated from the one you love is the hardest part but in the end, it is so worth it.

My greencard took almost 11 months after I went for my biometric appointment. I applied for citizenship shortly after I got it.
