My wife is filing an i-864 for her mother to show sponsorship for her mother. I have filled jointly with my wife for the past three years. My wife has not met the requirements on her own. Does our joint filling = her filling? Or do I need to fill out an i-864a? For some reason this form seems a bit overly complicated (again). Thanks in advance.
