Exactly!
The factor does not affect the result You should only have documents notarized when they specifically as you for it (which is requested sometimes for some documents). Notarizing anything that goes into the Packet 1 will not have any impact on the petition, it will only impact your wallet

There is now a provision in the law where a person entering on a K1 can adjust status without marrying the petitioner. It's not an easy thing to qualify for, but it does exist.
Can you give us a link to this? Never heard of it before. Thanks.

K3's are pretty much dead and replaced by the CR1.However, unless your husband intends to re file and support you, as the poster above said, you are not coming here anytime soon, if at all.

The US embassy can't really help you if you're a Belarusian citizen as well, since the citizenship of the country you are in will take precendence over your American one. This is why the United States does not encourage dual citizenship. You can also not get a visa for a country you are a citizen of, which is why they are denying you a Belarusian visa. You can TRY the US Consulate, but like I said, the US cannot really help someone who is also a citizen of Belarus, especially with less-than-warm relations between the US and Belarus. Honestly, I think you will just have to wait a month for the new passport and hope for the best. I will send the best of vibes for a different outcome for you, but I have a hard time imagining one.
It's Belarus.
Da. It's Belarus. You need a Belarussian visa in your US passport to enter and leave as a US citizen. You did not get one as you entered on your Belarussian passport, expecting no problems and would have exited the country with it, using your US passport to enter the US. It is possible that the US embassy in Minsk MAY be able to help short circuit the process by asking the Belarus government to issue you an expedited visa. I think it is worth a shot if you are not to far away from Minsk. However, your Belarus passport is now expired and I think you can only renew it in Belarus, although I may be wrong on this. If so, then the next time you go visit, it will be on your US passport and expect to spend some time in country to get a new one.

First stop checking every day. It will drive you crazy. Go about your normal life and maybe check once/twice a week.Secondly, there are many factors which can determine processing times. Your fiancee's country of origin, how much "stuff" you submitted over and beyond the docs, background checks, family names, who knows exactly. The bottom line is that you will be finished when you are finished and there is not a whole lot you can do about it. Just remember that the time here is nothing compared to the time together later on.

Go to the US Embassy in Minsk. As a US citizen they should be able to give you a visa in your US passport, or at least some type of official paper so you can leave the country.

What do you mean by naturalization certificate if you are only now going for AOS?
-
Well since she would mail it to them anyway, why not send it to them directly? Mail is mail.Just make sure you have correctly and properly identified it so they know who it belongs to.

Your application is in the cubicle on the fourth floor, third window from the left. But the guy is on his lunch break and needs to leave early. And he is off tomorrow. And the application in front of you has 2,000 pages of skype logs.

Tough one. Your grandmother is not an immediate family member ( mother, father) and not being able to see her, assuming she only has a few weeks left, may not be considered an extreme situation in their eyes.
-
Two,maybe three pages for each month ( to show a continuous relationship) is more than enough. You do not think they are really going to go and read all this do you? They process hundreds of visa applications every day, they do not have time for this and it will just slow things down for you.

Arriving a few minutes early and dressed in "appropriate business attire" is SOP for a job interview. Many younger people today miss that point, but most older people know how to present themselves in the best light.

How old is the child?. Over or under 21?

Since this passport had a K1 visa in it, it would be a foreign passport. You replace those at a Consulate or Embassy of THAT country. The US Post Office cannot assist in this matter.
my bad.

"FAFSA", which stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid, is a possibility since permanent residents are eligible for that but it is fairly hard to get. An easier option would be to look into scholarships through the school, and also look into whether or not you qualify for in-state tuition, if that applies to your school.
FASHA is a form used to calculate need. Just about all schools use it and require it for tuition aid, including in state tuition. ( for example, the state does not know if you are poor or a millionaire, so..they depend on the form to determine that) Been there and done it more times that I want to remember with my kids. Some schools will give scholarships if your a top sports athlete or a major brain in a subject that the school holds valuable. But to get aid you still need to fill in the FASHA. Again, just go to your schools financial aid office.
-
To be eligible for financial you must fill out a "fasha" form which you can find online. It determines how much, if any, aid your school and the government can give you. School aid is typically scholarships and such which do not need to be paid back. Government loans ( yes they are LOANS), such as Stafford's or Perkins do need to be paid back. Since this aid goes directly to the school, it has NO bearing on your affidavit of support, nor does it add to your income. Contact you school's financial office, they are experts on this stuff.

Go to your local post office with what is left of your old passport and apply for a new one. Some data should still be readable.

That is just the K1 warehouse. The CR1's are in the OTHER warehouse !
And yeah, the photo is from "lost ark", at the end when they are putting the ark "away for safe keeping".

Your K1 visa expired when you entered the country in December. It is only a ONE entry visa. It was replaced by the 194 paper in your passport which gave you the 90 days to get married. By now you should have been married and filing for your AOS, which makes even the 194 irrelevant. You are fine if you have done this.
-
You are a bit confused and need to read the guides here to assist you. If you wish to marry in the US then you file the 129 form, and all the other papers that go with it, to apply for a K1 visa. If you wish to marry in your fiancee's country, or any other country, then you file the 130 form requesting the CR1 visa.
-
You are the one who has to find and compile all the data. Once you have it, you fill out some forms. All the attorney does is to fill in the same forms with the data you gave him. You can fill in the forms just as easily and save your self not only thousands of dollars but also a lot of stress. And remember, if he screws up, it is YOUR life not his that gets trashed.

Why am I reminded of the song "Alice's Restaurant ? Op. If you never heard of it, I strongly suggest you download it someplace. I believe the singer was Arlo Guthrie. You will really love it.

Forget the binder. Just use some paper clips to keep the pertinent pages together. Once received, they only put it in the order they want anyway and will throw the binder away. Use a cover page that shows your contents in the order you placed them. That's it. Give them what they want not what you think they need, unless you are coming from a high fraud country then some additional info may be in order.

Thank you for the correction. The main point here is that the OP is on save grounds and should not worry.
