This is a link for the poverty guidelines. http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf
For just the two of you, you do not need to be at 300%.

I did not show stamps in my passport, only the boarding passes. Worked ok for me.

You filed a K1 and then got married here. Hopefully within the 90 day period. Next step is to file for her AOS, her green card. The lonk above is what you need to use. You should have a copy of her vaccination records. If not, no problem. She just has to show that she received them. So worst case is (I forget what you call it), but a shot that shows that she did get vaccinations previously. The doctor signs off on this and your done. My wife had to go thru this because her records were in Russian, the doc did not understand them and, hey, he wanted the money. So she got this shot and few days later it came back ok and that was it.

Call them and make the change again via phone.

Not sure if this topic goes here or Removing conditions, but...I filed my wife's ROC and got her biometrics appointment. However, during this process we will have reached the 3 year marriage mark and are eligible for filing N-400 for citizenship. Can both be done concurrently? Appreciate your replies.

If they are sponsoring your husband, where he lives is not important.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. The letter gives his GC new life for one more year by which he will need to do his removal of conditions. He MUST show up for his biometrics and interview to get his 10 year card. Just showing an expired GC without the letter will not help him as others may think he is now here illegally, which he is not. Most job applications will ask if you are a US citizen and answering no will prompt a look see at his green card. Don't you just wish you could smack them in the back of the head a few times and make them "smell the coffee"? Living on his own, I don't know his age, may teach him some responsibility but on the other hand may give him too much freedom and possibly get into trouble he does not need right now.
-
They are concerned about his ability to support you. It is his info they want.
-
I stand corrected. Seems Manila has a different way of doing things than other countries. My bad
-
If they cashed your check, then they have received your paperwork. If they have your paperwork you will get something in the mail. Just the way it works. It should be sent to your Texas address. give it another few days or just put in a phone call to make sure they got the address correct.
-
You pay the visa fee at the embassy, just before your interview. It takes a bit of time until you get your packet 3 from the embassy so just hang in there. You collect the doc needed, as requested in the packet ( which is really nothing more than a letter), send the letter back indicating you have everything ready, and then packet 4 comes, which is your interview date.

Send a message to Gary and Alla. He is an expert on this.

You can apply for a K1 for your fiancee and a K2 for her daughter. BUT, the daughter MUST be on American soil before she turns 21. Then she can adjust status like her mother, assuming you marry in 90 days after her arrival. As far as finances go, that is something you must deal with somehow.
-
That visa is good for 6 months. What have you been doing during the last 6 months? The purpose of all this is to get married. If your fiance still wants you then I would get on a plane ASAP. Once you enter the US you have another 90 days to get married. I do not know if extensions exist on this visa.
-
Thanks guys, dont worry we haven't done anything yet except apply for the K-1. We looked into it quite a lot and the most important thing was being together, this and a few other reasons meant the K1 was the way to go. No money wasted!
Now i guess there is a chance we might have the Visa in time for August which would be perfect, but I hear ya all saying wait and be patient.
- We will not get married till we have the Visa, that would be madness
- However what would be wrong with arranging the wedding but without the legal bit so its basically just a party, in order to ensure everyone can attend that we want. Then completing the legal element when we have the Visa.
- Ok i see actually two people said USCIS frown on an unofficial wedding for whatever reason so guess maybe not.
Thanks for the help, chill AK2005 we havent wasted anything.
Regards,
Owen

What part of this do you not understand? All either of you have to say is that is was a "Wedding party" and its over. Denied.Legal or not. The one photo that "looks" like a reception puts you in the hot seat.I cannot tell you how many people just slip up and say one wrong word and your toast. WAIT UNTIL THE VISA IS IN HAND. You have no idea of the tiniest things that have gone wrong with couples before you. Read Gary's last post.
-
AFTER you are married, you can file for your AOS, AP and EAD ( employment) at the same time.
-
You can added to his insurance immediately upon marriage. Since you need to do this in 90 days or less, finding and paying for short term insurance may not be the best option ( expensive and a hassle)and the chance of risk is small.Or just get married right away !!
-
His divorce degree should have spelled out his LEGAL obligations. Anything over and above are his choices. Unless she goes back to court and requests for more support he does not need to give it.
-
My brother is gay. I understand your concerns.I wish you the best!
-
Going forward.Never send copies of anything unless it is mandatory. You can always bring the originals to the inteviews.

To answer your other question. All the bank and credit accounts are still hers. No change there. That has nothing to do with immigration.

Enjoy the country ! Bring her passport and I94.
I-129F Question 18, enough detail?
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures

USCIS has no clue as to how you met. Only what you told them. Most people only give give a short description, to cover that the face to face meeting necessary happened in the last 2 years. As long as both of you are on the same page, you should be fine.
