Gavin & I met in Oct of 2006 while playing LOM3. We we're only friends because I was going through a bad marriage. In Nov 2007 we started chatting a bit more, spending most days talking to each other. I was separated from my ex. By Jan 2008 Gavin & I were inseparable online but distance was an issue. I filed for divorce in May '08. Gavin flew out to meet me 6/12/08, he proposed on 6/17/08. We spent 3 amazing months together. He flew back home on 9/8/08. I was miserable without him. I flew out to Wales on 10/26/08. We got married in Wales on 12/06/08. We returned to the US, together, on Jan 8th, 2009. We didn't want to spend anymore time apart so we got a great immigration advisor. I was worried about spending so much time apart, Gavin had entered US on visa waiver and was due to return to Wales while we did paperwork in April, Amada said we didn't have to file and be apart. She filed all of our forms for AOS, I-130 & I-765, took care of all my questions, we had one unavoidable RFE, due to a tax issue, and then had our interview on July 16th and were approved. It took a total of 4 months from the time we sent in our application to 2 year GC.
