We met by chance while I was in Liverpool on a student visa that was not approved at the last minute. When I was forced to return to the US, I thought the newish relationship was over and I'd always wonder "what if?" I was thankfully wrong. Two months later, my UK boyfriend hopped a plane for the first time in his life and we embarked on a two month road trip around the US, falling deeply in love along the way. Apart again for another couple of months, he flew to the United States in the middle of it to propose at the "Veritgo" stairs at Mission San Juan Bautista- one of my favorite places in the world. I think I said yes before he even finished asking.
Days after, with him back in the UK, I received an approved UK student visa valid from Sept 09-January 2011. We plan to be married in Scotland in January 2010.
Once my MA is done, it's back to the US we go... and what brings us to VJ...
