    My husband and I met in a country which imposed strict rules regarding separation of the genders. We were able to weather all the trials and after almost 4 years we finally decided to marry in the Philippines. After 13 months of being married we start our journey... We both knew that this is the beginning of a struggle but we are willing to give the best we can to succeed.     How are you doing back there? We are doing great, but sometimes I feel bored.

    I got my GC prior to the SSN card after 4 weeks. We reapplied for my SSN after waiting for almost 5 weeks and they haven't assigned any number for me. My POE was JFK and it was very easy, no hassle and very few passengers when we landed. It just took almost 5 minutes for the verification of finger print.
